random fun fact I thought while fleshing out Witch of Justice's backstory:
there was only one time where Justice was deceived, once a younger witch invited them to bring freshly baked live cookies to a gathering. Justice thought it would be a simple gathering, where ALL the witches were bringing there own cookies and showing their magical prowess.
alas, they were deceived.
the group of witches thanked the Witch of Justice for the cookies, and promptly snatched the cookie tray with the LIVE cookies on it.
and gobbled them up right in front of them.
"hm?", the young witch looked up at the Witch of Justice, with a genuine puzzled look on her face.
all the witches stopped scarfing down the the cookies they were tearing apart, now looking up at the witch.
the silence was so thick, it was suffocating.
"w-what are you talking about? and may I ask, why aren't you eat-"
suddenly, all the witches that had consumed the cookies writhed in indescribable pain, it was like their insides where turning inside out and then back again.
the young witch looked up at the Witch of Justice, now realizing, they had made a big mistake.
"you all will feel the unsatisfiable agony of everlasting hunger. no matter how much you gorge yourselves, you shall never be truly full."
the young witch open her mouth, but all that came out was a blood curdling scream as she felt the hunger set in, it was like she haven't eaten in years..
"... you will also be punished if you EVER think about eating living breathing cookies ever again. I will know. I will always know."
a shining orange mist swirled around the witch, drifting them out the front door of the cursed banquet, promptly sitting up on their broom and flying away as if nothing happened at all.
all that could be heard that night were the bellowing screams of the witches left behind. forced to now face a life of everlasting hunger.
