want to ride. not sure about the 5 hour wait time.Ā
I could honestly just leave the review as, āWOW!ā and it would be sufficient.
OrlandoUnited's webmaster, Brian, in his review of Diagon Alley.
Ninety minutes into Diagon Alley's grand opening, Gringotts has already reached a three-hundred minute wait time.
After years of rumors, construction, and an entire community on the edge of their seats once again, the big day is here.
I'll be updating this LeakyNews article throughout the day.
Whether your Diagon Alley hopes are high or youāre set for cynicism, this is something to get excited about. Sure, there will be errors. There will be glitches. Rides will break down and people will be upset. Itās over a year before opening and this is already clear. But letās take a quick step back and think about this: If being able to finally go to Hogwarts was mind-blowing back in 2010, letās consider the fact that in a yearās time weāll be able to withdraw some money at Gringotts, board the Hogwarts Express, and travel toward Hogwarts the same way Harry did. Weāre going to be able to grab a bite at the Leaky Cauldron, thinking back to our days spent on the-leaky-cauldron. Weāll be able to spend hours at Weasleyās Wizard Wheezes, visit the original Ollivanderās, and maybe hit Hogsmeade for some butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks. As opening day approaches, weāll bring our wands, scarves, and white button-ups out of the closet. Weāll be abuzz once again, exchanging plans and counting down. Weāll be speculating, debating, and waiting. This is the magic many fearedā but never truly believedā would end with the last book in 2007 or the last film in 2011. This is the stuff that brings us together, brings the wizards and witches out of the woodwork, and reminds us where our loyalties lie. Last summer, I spent over 13 uninterrupted hours in Hogsmeade on July 21 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Deathly Hallowsā publishing. I meandered through Hogsmeade and had more than a few butterbeers. I walked through Hogwarts time and time again. And sometime after my thirteenth hour there, when the park closed and I had to leave, I wanted nothing more than to stay longer. This is something that does not get old. This is something weāve waited for since opening our first Harry Potter book. This is the letter we anticipated as the clock struck midnight on our eleventh birthdayā and every one since then. So my main expectation for Diagon Alley? I think itāll feel like home.
This LeakyNews article from over a year ago, when Diagon Alley was officially announced.
We're almost there.
Diagon Alley has officially soft opened.
The first non-media crowds are now experiencing the Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion, following the Hogwarts Express' July 1st soft opening. Escape from Gringotts has yet to open.
We should hire them as consultants next time.

āEnter, stranger, but take heed Of what awaits the sin of greed, For those who take, but do not earn, Must pay most dearly in their turn. So if you seek beneath our floors A treasure that was never yours, Thief, you have been warned, beware Of finding more than treasure there.āĀ

Harry Potter Locations:Ā GringottsĀ (3/?)
Itās not over yet. There will be a Phase III of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Did they just make an unintentional Starkid reference?Ā
"Its not over yet."

I'm here to get your opinions. If the wizarding world expands once more (we all know it will) what do you hope will be added?
Everything. Let's go with everything.
This answer is just going to be a stream of consciousness.
Okay, a lot of people are predicting there'll be a Ministry of Magic attraction. I'm down with that. They'd be able to expand the London facade and have the MoM where Fear Factor Live is now. There's a lot they could do with the theme.
I'd love for them to build the Burrow somewhere somehow. It'd be difficult to have it be placed seamlessly anywhere, but I need it in my life.
I also want to see the Whomping Willow outside of FJ. I believe this was meant to happen to begin with? I don't know.
HogwartsĀ needs a Great Hall.
This is totally unrealistic, but I would do Azkaban-worthy things for them to start some sort of boat ride towards Hogwarts.
With the Fantastic Beasts movies coming up, anything new from there would be very welcome.
I don't know. I'm in total Diagon Alley mode so I'm drawing blanks here. If anybody has ideas/thoughts on what they'd like to see, you should totally send those our way.
