Step House is a minimal residence located in London, United Kingdom, designed by Grey Griffiths Architects. The project is a transformative stepped extension provides a new kitchen and bedroom for a young family. A bespoke staircase allows daylight into the heart of the home, linking the old and new. The extension carefully responds to the neighboring houses to avoid impacting on the natural light they receive. The conservation area setting is preserved by sensitive use of materials and the form of the new extension.

Chelsea Townhouse is a minimal townhouse located in London, United Kingdom, designed by McLean Quinlan. The old house required demolition in its entirety leaving just the party walls either side. The stucco façade was then faithfully rebuilt and enhanced in harmony with the street with the addition of a new porch. The site is a long narrow slot which becomes larger towards the middle of the plan.

The Patterned House is a minimalist residence located in London, United Kingdom, designed by MWAI. MWAI’s design response was to develop a style in interior architectural detailing & FFE bespoke to the property, where modern architectural details – such as shadow gap architraves and recessed skirting – are placed in harmony with traditional features. A final palette of interior finishes is calm, soft, patterned and meticulously executed. The design of the interior lighting and furniture was chosen to compliment the style of the architectural fit-out – with bold accents of colour, metalwork details and form to lift the atmosphere and enhance the hierarchy of spaces within the new open plan layout of the house.

Juro is a minimalist stool collection created by Switzerland-based designer Tomas Kral. The Juro collection is inspired by the shape of a hat of Juraj Janosik, the Slovakian national hero. It is particularly about the big radius of the massive seat board. This idea is also enhanced by the construction, by the detail how the legs of this furniture being joined together with the aforementioned seat board. The collection consists of four pieces: a low stool, a long bench and two size bar stools. All pieces are made of solid oak wood and exist in different oiled finishes such as white, natural or dark.

OS House is a minimalist residence located in Valencia, Spain, designed by Carlos Segarra Arquitectos. The first steps to begin this project started from the strict decision of dividing the space with the greatest possible symmetry. The designers achieved this by placing the staircase as the organizational core of the space.. This decision allowed the architects to generate a visual connection between the different rooms, which are clearly defined within their space. Natural light has been the main element that marked the second phase of the project. The architects wanted to blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior spaces with the arrangement of terraces and outdoor spaces.
