I've Been Here Before A Few Times.

Who am I? I am pessimistic and optimistic. A hopeless romantic, but also realistic. I find beauty in unexpected places and people, and yet I’m very judgmental. I have so much to say, but don’t like to talk. I have a big heart but haven’t really had the chance to use it. Apparently all these things can be true at the same time: and that’s the problem with identity. It’s everything and nothing, both authentic and inauthentic. There is no one version of me, I’m always changing, with every day, every new situation, every new person I encounter, with every friend I lose. Things change. So does identity. We want different things. We grow. We learn from our mistakes. Or we don’t. Either way, we aren’t who we were yesterday. So today I’m a hopeless romantic. Tomorrow I think all that is bullshit. The day after that? Who knows?

Be my healthiest self.

The fact that fat people were way more susceptible of dying of covid shook me. I've taken my health way more seriously since the pandemic started.

I cleaned my diet up a lot, I cut my sweets down by like 80%, I cut red meat down by like 75%. I had super good results in 2021. I've developed a relationship with my body that I didn't have before because I'd never been that health conscientious.

I still go to therapy for general maintenance, it's helped me when I go through bad luck and shit is all bad. When shit goes bad I BE GOOD, cause she helps keep my mind so sharp.

I just wanna be smarter, healthier, happier and a better person in general. But not just saying it, actually doing it in practice through my actions.

I feel optimistic about myself while simultaneously being anxious and saddened by the state of society/the world. It's like a dark cloud hanging over everything. But you know, that's why therapy helps...

But yeah, we only doing the same shit in 2022 that we already been doing. But we doing it better.

****This doesn't mean that don't make mistakes or poor decisions. I do. I just make a lot less of them than I used to.

It’s important to point out that protesting generally hasn’t been made a felony, but rather the camping that the protestors are doing (and the legislation also includes other things to discourage protesting).

This is still really bad though, because the right to peaceful protest is protected in the Constitution, and even if protesting isn’t outlawed outright the government is still criminalizing an act of peaceful protest just because it’s a protest.

Furthermore:

According to tn.gov felons in Tennessee lose their right to vote. This is called Felony Disenfranchisement

So this means that the Tennessee government just passed legislation that would render the protestors unable to vote.
