You don’t know that yet. People are still fighting, companies are still suing, the CRA can still make it. The change will be very, very gradual and as such there’s still plenty of time to push back against this decision. Also, don’t act as though just ONE email or letter is going to immediately make or break this decision–your letter did not fail us and it was not the deciding factor for our win, it simply helped us push things in the right direction. We need THOUSANDS or even MILLIONS of people clogging up Congress’ mailboxes to get closer to winning, and that’s what we seem to be getting. We can still fight and we can still win.And of course, there’s the November election, which many people are citing as one of the best options to help win back our internet freedom.Just don’t quit just yet, okay? If nothing else, maybe they’ll dig up evidence of criminal activity/corrupt business practice that will land Ajit Pai in jail.

If you feel really adventurous spam Cory Gardner’s e-mails because he’s the Colorado representative that straight up emailed me back after I sent a personalized, not automated, message about how badly this will effect small business owners like myself who are disabled and can’t do any other kinds of work who mostly get their revenue from online sales with a response that was basically ‘cool I don’t care I agree with this decision’ and lo and behold The NY Times finds out he’s benefitting from net neutrality being repealed. The other representatives (that I contacted) were firmly against it and were essentially like ‘yeah no this is bad a free and open internet is important especially for small business owners’
