Oh my, I don't think I could list all of the stories I enjoy on here but I will do what I can! Some of them are on hiatus, but the good thing about simblr is you can start reading at any time.

Would you rather: start your current project from scratch or do a soft reboot focusing on a different character?

This is a difficult question to answer, so excuse the rambling. I don't want to start my current project from scratch but I love to go back and make some serious changes. The story and plot part would stay the same but changing more of the tags and labels of gen 2, gen 1, etc. Instead of the traditional legacy format of ten generations I'd rather take one generation, for lack of a better term, and tell everyone's story. I'm currently reading a series from an author I love who intertwines each of her book series. For example she and her co-author have a series where all the main characters are professional athletes, and most of them share an agent named Damon. If you had only read that series the fact that Damon King is their sports agent wouldn't be significant. If you had read her other series where Damon is the main character in the first book and just getting started as a sports agent you'd be really excited to have him show up. Each story can standalone but it is a richer experience reading them as a set. That's what I'd love to do with my current project. My current thinking is that I'll finish Rose's story and then do a soft reboot/redesign to move away from the traditional legacy format.

Rose: Hi Aunt Sigi, do you have a few minutes to talk?

Sigrid: Oh of course! I missed seeing you at Harvestfest. How are you doing?

Rose: I’m okay but I will fill you in later. I was actually calling Dr. Sigrid Bauer not my Auntie.

Sigrid: Ah okay. Miss Volkov-Woods its lovely to see you.

Rose: Dr. Bauer, it's nice to see you too.

Sigrid: Now, what brings you in today?

Rose: Well, I’ve been sick for a few weeks now. I thought it was a stomach bug but it’s been nearly a month.

Rose: Thanks Auntie, give my love to Aunt Maura and I’ll tell Lydia to call.

Lydia: How are Mama and Mum? What did she say?

Rose: Aunt Maura was out but I talked to Aunt Sigi, She thinks I’m pregnant but said I need to do a test to confirm.

Lydia: I’ve got errands to run, but while I’m out I’ll pick up a test. You find a distraction so you won’t freak out while I’m gone.

Rose: I love you.

TRUTH: How far out is your legacy planned? Do you have a set stoping point?

Oh boy! I've got the next generation roughly planned out but not beyond that. Even with the current generation I have a general outline of big events that I want to happen but that's it. As for the stopping point, I've got no idea. This legacy started as a Not So Berry Challenge but that went out the window pretty quickly. My characters developed a mind of their own and refused to follow the rules. I will say I have recently been thinking about removing the legacy factor, mainly because I don't want my characters to die. It's silly I know. I have also thought about future "generations" be about the other Volkov-Woods siblings. We'll see.

Rose: This is weird. You’re the calm one I’m the one who does the worrying

Lydia: This is what happens when I get panicked texts from Uncle Kristopher.

Rose: He texted you?

Lydia: He’s really worried about you. More than usual.

Rose: Oh. What did he say?

Lydia: That you don’t seem like yourself recently. And after you calling me at 2am I would agree. So we’re sitting here until you drop the I’m fine act.

Lydia: Oh Rosie! Are you crying? I didn’t mean to make you cry.

Rose: [sniffling] I’m I’m

Lydia: Don’t you fucking dare say fine.

Rose: Work is stressful and everyone has big things happening in their life which I can handle normally but recently I’ve been so overly emotional. I cry at everything and I’ve had a stomach bug and now Julia trying to mother me.

Lydia: You didn’t tell me you’ve been sick.

Rose: It’s nothing but Julia’s threatening to drag me kicking and screaming to the doctor’s office if I’m still sick this week.

Rose: [starts sobbing]

Lydia: Oh Rosie. If you’re still not better this week we’ll call Mama. She’s technically retired now but she still sees patients.

Lydia: Now, dry your eyes, drink your tea and let’s watch a movie. Nothing productive will happen tonight. I’m here now, I’ve got you.

Rose: [sniffling] Loo-Lee you’re the best. I hate you live so far away. I wish you lived closer.

Lydia: I know Rosie. I know.

Julia: Ben! Honestly you’re worse than the twins.

Ben: [muttering] Please complete the forms and include any case notes. And bring in your badge from the Del Sol Office to be swapped out.

Julia: Benjamin Aleksander McAdams!

Ben: What the hell Jules! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?

Julia: Nope just trying to get your undivided attention.

Ben: Not possible in this moment what’s up?

Julia: Well, Caleb is going to bed, Theo is on bath duty and you need to eat.

Ben: I’ll eat later we have an agent transferring to Windenburg and there’s too much to do to get things squared away.

Julia: I’ll bring you something, but we need to choose a day this week that you’ll come home at a reasonable time. Rose’s best friend is visiting and I said we’d meet them for drinks or something.

Ben: Yeah okay, I’ll look at my calendar.

Julia: Of course you will dear.

Julia: If you are not upstairs in our bedroom in the next hour I won’t send Theo, I will come get you. So if you want to have fun you better get your ass up.

Riley: If you mention the thing then you have to buy another round!

Maya: Stop looking at me like that Wilder. I’ll buy the next round.

Rose: Really? You do realize it's 2am here.

Lydia: Then what are you doing answering your phone?

Rose: I have too much on my mind and I needed to hear your voice.

Lydia: What’s going on Rosie?

Rose: I keep wondering if it's all worth it. I talked with Dad but the feelings have only gotten worse.

Lydia: Is the impact you make worth the loneliness and invasion of privacy.

Rose: Uh-huh

Rose: I was doing okay but Rai and Zelda got married months ago and just now told everyone and Jacob and Emilia are trying for another baby.

Rose: Oh and Ren is dating someone and wants to introduce him to Mum and Dad. And Reed announced he’s opening his own practice.

Lydia: Oh Rosie, I’m worried about you. I can see about leaving earlier than planned.

Rose: No I’m fine. I’m just ready to be home. I really miss you!

Lydia: I really miss you too. I’ll be there before you know it.
