I stopped making it a point to remember birthdays when I realized nobody ever remembered mine. Year after year, the only wishes I got were because of a reminder on Facebook.
Your birthday is January 11th, though. Do you think about me on April 28th?

I listen to music that reminds me of you. I replay our memories in my mind often. I talk to you in my head every day. I miss you more as each day passes. I hold onto you like this because it's all I have left of you. I must allow myself to feel this; otherwise, I won't have anything left of you.
we all must get weirder and more queer. i am completely serious and genuine and this is urgent. please get weirder and gayer now. if you see me acting weird and gay mind your business a little bit.
my love is homeless because it has nowhere to go,
so I turn this homeless love into grief,
because grief is just love with nowhere to go.
i just think we would both have so much fun if we fucked
“The weak breeze whispers nothing the water screams sublime. His feet shift, teeter-totter deep breaths, stand back, it’s time. Toes untouch the overpass soon he’s water-bound. Eyes locked shut but peek to see the view from halfway down. A little wind, a summer sun a river rich and regal. A flood of fond endorphins brings a calm that knows no equal. You’re flying now, you see things much more clear than from the ground. It’s all okay, or it would be were you not now halfway down. Thrash to break from gravity what now could slow the drop? All I’d give for toes to touch the safety back at top. But this is it, the deed is done silence drowns the sound. Before I leaped I should’ve seen the view from halfway down. I really should’ve thought about the view from halfway down. I wish I could’ve known about the view from halfway down.”

My skeletons, they dance like the grass in the wind on a summer night, their bones shaking and rattling much like the leaves rustling on a tree in the wind. They've done the same dance for years, hoping someone will see and enjoy it. Of course most people stop and stare, but the skeletons are unsure if the onlookers enjoy it or not. Some stop and stare for far too long, not daring to get much closer than a few feet away. Some of those that stop and stare will mimic them from afar for a moment, but the dance gets old and they continue on their way. Some of them grab the hands of the skeletons and dance with them, and the length varies... Some dance for a couple weeks; others dance for years. Nevertheless, the ending is all the same. Everyone marks their business on the skeletons and continues their way forward, leaving the skeletons behind in a neverending, exhaustive dance. Their bones shake and rattle much like leaves on a tree in the wind.
