"How does this song go again?" - 002 Broken Glass is out now on Spotify & iTunes #songsfromasketchbook
002 of Songs from Sketchbook is called "Broken Glass" and comes out tomorrow on Spotify & iTunes.
"001 The Last Time I Was Home" is the first song in a new collection of original music by The Workday Release called Songs from a Sketchbook. The point of this project is to release music exactly as I write it. No heavy editing, no extra instruments/effects, no over fixing of any kind. One song a week will be released and you can stream/purchase them on most online services. You can hear the song now at http://theworkdayrelease.com. Thanks for listening!

I want 2016 to be the year of "doing" - One video a week on YouTube starts TODAY with a live acoustic video for an older song I've never released called "Fall Apart" All these videos will lead to the release of my next record DARK PACIFIC around April. Subscribe to youtube.com/theworkdayrelease, check out the newest video and download the song for FREE on soundcloud. š

The Workday Release 2016
I have so much to say about this record and how I feel about it and The Workday Release as a whole, but maybe this is the simplest way of putting it for now...
I wrote this record as though it will be my last.
For 8 years, The Workday Release has been a huge part of my life and I am grateful for everything I have experienced and everyone I have met along the way.
What I love so much about this record is that I wrote it for me.
I didnāt think about what I had written before, I didnāt think about radio, I didnāt think about sales, I didnāt think about trying to please anyone else.
I sat at my piano and wrote for the sake of loving to write.
I do hope you like it.
Itās called Dark Pacific.
Iāll tell you more about it soon.
