If my job interview tomorrow is successful, my weekly income will increase from $260 to $600-$700. I will also have paid, relevant experience to my course and future career. It will potentially provide me with the means to finally move out of Western Sydney and into my own place without housemates, as well as as the means to afford a car.

Or, I’ll cock it up just like every job interview I’ve ever sat and end up with nothing.

Chin up, me two years ago. It might seem hopeless now, but in a couple of years your income will increase to $700 net per week while still studying full time. You’ll have moved out of the western suburbs and into a suburb close to the Sydney CBD. You won’t have a car, but you’ll be rapidly accruing money in your savings account to put down for a house deposit. You’ll live in a one bedroom terrace with 18th century charm on the outside and modern renovations on the inside. You’ll be greeted each morning with a smile and kiss from the woman you love, and you’ll return every evening to a delicious, home-cooked meal. I promise you will be happy.
