I’m so glad Zach and I took a trip to where my family lives in Colorado 2 years ago. And he got to see it as I remember it. I’m devastated. It’s not going to be the same again for probably my lifetime after these wildfires.

Thankfully everyone is safe and my grandmothers house/moms childhood home haven’t been affected yet.

The only time I have to read for pleasure currently is my fifteen min train ride and the 30 mins I clock out for break at work but these are my cherished moments

Ok I’m finally happy with my kitchen. I need to go to the fabric store though so I can sew the second curtain for my window. Honestly don’t exactly know how it will work bc my window unit AC. I guess I can just pin it above it in the summer?

Furnishing your home is so hard. It also really does not come naturally to me the way it is for some people I feel. I wish I was a more domestic person sometimes but I’m always on the go.

My next order of business is new bedding and a rug for our bedroom. And then some sort of large painting for the wall above our bed.

I’ve lived in this apartment for a year too and am just now getting it sort of together. I don’t even want to talk about our living room space at the moment.

I will quit both of my jobs this summer and have a new one at an adorable bar where I don’t have to wear a uniform and make enough money to live and have some extra left over amen
