A/N: I’m not uk but mainland Europe and I’m BOILING. so here’s Magdala suffering in uk heat cause yous are suffering worse tbh
Magdala was spread out in starfish form in the cold tiles of the kitchen, a handheld fan blowing soft air into her face. “Will” she groaned, “what maggot” he shouted from the living room “it’s so hot” she moaned, dramatically throwing her arm over her eyes. “Sod this I’m going down to the sea” she grumbled. “Are ya joining me or are we not seeing the husband today?” She joked, grinning around the corner. “Meh yea fine I could do with a bit of cool sea”
Within just a few minutes the duo was sat in Magdala’s little car, ac on and music blaring trough her speakers, speeding down the streets.
“When I moved here, you warned me about uk heat, remember?” “Yea?” “I take back my claim, you’re right. This is unbearable” this made will grin smugly “oh really, you admit defeat?” “Yes yes I admit defeat” they sighed.
Only an hour later they found themselves on the pebble beach of the dainty little sea side town. Magdala had already discarded her skirt and top, now in a black with white dots covered bikini. A few others of her Brighton friends joined them at the beach. James and Will were tanning in the sun, being the most adorable couple on the beach while Magdala grabbed Aimsey’s arm, dragging them to the water before she picked them up and drowned herself and Aimsey.
As time went on they found themselves back with their friends, snacking on ice cream and talking and laughing about anything that came to mind. At the end of the day she found herself in a pub, getting a little to drink to drive home.
The uk heat might’ve been unbearable but friends, sea and alcohol make it a lot more bearable.
