Accelerated Healing Factor
A living weapon Whumpee, who after being rescued, is the perfect sunshine character. With his team, heâs chatty, cheerful and a reliable team member. Complies with mission orders, delivers excellent results. All round MVP.
But when he gets hurt, they can never keep him in the hospital wing. The white walls and uniformed medical staff remind him of the lab he was created and conditioned in. So he keeps making the slip and escaping back to his dorm every chance he gets.
"I didn't know what else to do. You were going to kill him."
"You should have let me. And you shouldn't have fucking mind-controlled me to stop me."

please stop reblogging sylvia plath poetryÂ
For ppl asking why sheâs an anti black, anti Semite. She has used the n word and compared her depression to the holocaust
Even not counting her poetry her private journals are full of disgusting, overblown antisemitism. She didnât just use Jewish people for her metaphors, she outright hated them irl and yet decided to use their suffering for her own gain
hereâs a source with some quotes
okay, Iâm Jewish and I appreciate this sentiment. and if someone wants to cut out Sylvia Plath, go for it, I get it.
But. by this logic weâd also need to stop reblogging TS Eliot, Oscar Wilde, and Shakespeare quotes. Virginia Woolf wrote anti-semetic things in her private journals, too. If you only want to read classic poets who liked Jews and black people, thatâs fine, but like. good luck? Sylvia Plath isnât an exception.
idk. Tumblrâs attitude of âconsume nothing problematicâ just doesnât work if youâre part of a group that most culture-creators over the last few centuries have hated by default. For people actually in those groups, itâs not like the only two choices are 1) worship authors who hate you or 2) completely cut the majority of literature out of your life. You learn to read critically and acknowledge flaws where you find them.
anyway, as a Jewish woman, I would much rather see a version of this post that said âplease read Sylvia Plath poetry critically because sheâs anti black and antisemeticâ than just âstop reblogging Sylvia Plath poetry.â
IMO, reblog Sylvia Plath all you want, just not unthinkingly.
Iâm reblogging this now because Iâm seeing anti-Virginia Woolf discourse lately due to the antisemitism in her journals and like⊠as a Jewish person who loves Virginia Woolfâs writing and an English teacher who knows that pretty much every writer of the classics is Problematic justâŠchill pls
The point isnât to never consume media that isnât ideologically pure. Thatâs never the point. Were that the goal, we would NEVER be able to consume any media. Nothing is ever ideologically pure, especially as time goes on and our social consciousness expands.
We should be telling people instead, âBe critical as you read this personâs work. They held bigoted views. Understand how that is reflected in their work, and be mindful of it. Be critical, be thoughtfulâ
Compelling others to not engage with something at ALL on ideological grounds is in the same vein as burning books. We should be compelling others to be critical and mindful, not narrow and willfully ignorant.
âUnderstand how it is reflected in their work, and be mindful of it.â
Booom ! No one literature is pure and it is not logical to think one medium is pure. You cannot cancel everything. On the same hand also realize that it is up to you to read and consume their writings or media if you see fit without judgement if you do not support their views about blacks, minorities, etc.

CARE TAKING IDEAS
Here are some prompts for scenarios where your characters are taking care of each other:
Person A taking Person Bâs temperature
Person A cleaning up Person B after theyâve vomited/bled/peed/pooped on themself
Person A bandaging/stitching up Person Bâs wounds
Person A steadying Person B as they try to stand/walk
Person A spoon feeding Person B
Person A catching Person B after theyâve fainted
Person A putting eye drops into Person Bâs eyes
Person A giving Person B an injection
Person A giving Person B an enema/suppository
Person A giving Person B words of support, praise, and encouragement
NOTE: Remember that some people go through these scenarios every single day. Please be respectful and considerate when including them in your writing.
Cliche but still valid Villain x Hero trope:
Villain and Hero going round after round until Hero finally slips up and Villain gets the upper hand, pinning them hard against the wall. Heroâs panting, bruised and bloody, eyes narrowed and defiant, daring Villain to do their worst. And Villain canât help but give in to impulse and kiss them.Â
Bonus: Hero freezes up, completely shocked, and does nothing to stop them.
Bonus bonus: Hero freezes for just a moment and then melts, kissing back.
Bonus bonus bonus: Hero kisses back with purpose and then uses the distraction as a chance to finally stun and capture Villain.
Whump Writing Cheats
Want to write whump? Not sure how to get started? Here are a few whump writing cheats that make things easier! Feel free to add your cheats in reblogs!
Whumpee waking up. Has the character been drugged, beaned over the head, collapsed from exhaustion, does it matter? No one needs to know how, just what happens next! Have that whumpee regain consciousness dazed and confused, already tied up, and dive right in homies.Â
Blindfolds. Not only are blindfolds lovely, but they remove the main sensory input for you to describe. Not sure who your whumper is? Blindfold. Not even sure where they are? Blindfold. This lets you focus on only dialog and touch descriptions and avoid the temptation to over describe visuals.Â
Gags. Not sure what your whumpee would say? Canât think of any witty comebacks? Gag âem.Â
Start with Dialogue: âYou look so peaceful when youâre sleepingâŠâ âHello, my dear.â âHave you missed me?â - Starting with dialogue lets you hook readers asap and helps get you over that âopening lineâ road block.Â
End on Dialogue: âWeâre going to have so much fun together.â âOh, how Iâve missed you pet.â âWe are just getting started.â- Same as before, ending with some nicely worded dialogue leaves us hanging on the edge of our seats, aching for more! Perfect for when you donât know where to go next!
Person A:Â âWhy the hell would you do this if you knew how much it could cost you!?â
Person B:Â âBecause no matter the cost, itâs always worth it, so long as it means keeping you safe.â
letâs talk about tough, brave, scarred and bitter characters whose voices soften and whose hands move patiently when they interact with someone terrified and hurting
Because they intimately know what itâs like to be terrified and hurting without anyone to be soft and patient for them.
