The Writing Mill offers the solitude, space and structure for you to write. Only 60 kilometers from Paris, The Writing Mill is easily accessible by car or RER, yet worlds away from your daily life of distractions.

The 500-year old mill is in the center of Saclas, a small village surrounded by fields, winding roads and a flowing river to encourage long walks to help inspire creative thinking. 

Individual writing needs vary; some writers welcome company while others prefer to be left alone. The Writing Mill is designed to accomodate both, and you are invited to create your own program, or join one of ours.
