Vidia - Gala by natalieism featuring a box clutch
This is why I love you, Ligeiro.
-shifts her weight uneasily- Â Don't know why you wouldn't, Li. Â
0/10: Do not want. Sorry, Sunshine, I just donât think Iâll ever be ready for that. Even if a mini us would be cute.
I'm on the same page here, Li, you don't have to apologize for not wanting the holy terror that we'd undoubtedly produce. Â Don't know why anyone would want that, honestly. -wrinkles nose-

"You really need to learn to cook, Vidia." Shang grinned, tossing the stirfry around in the wok. He rolled his eyes at her comment. "Gee, thanks." He replied sarcastically. "Itâs not that Iâm not used to it, itâs just harder than things were at Hogwarts. Iâm loving it, really, itâs just I was on top at Hogwarts and now Iâm at the bottom having to work my way up to the top again." He shrugged and plated up the food before picking both plates up and nudging her over to the table. "Come on, Iâm starving but we should probably eat first." He winked, not talking about being starving for food.
Vidia snorted. Â "Why the hell would I do that? Â You do a good job of it on your own." Â She smirked, nuzzling her face into his shoulder. Â "It's good for your ego. Â You could do with some time on the bottom of the pile, really." Â Her tone of voice clearly rang with amusement, knowing Shang wouldn't take her teasing seriously. Â She easily went with his nudges, sitting down at the table and laughing at his comment. Â "Yeah, yeah. Â Keep it in your pants, bud." Â Regardless, she started to eat, tangling her feet with his under the table.
I guess a mini you would be kinda cute, but I still donât want kids.
-snorts- Â A mini me would literally traumatize you, I don't know who you think you're kidding. Â
-small grin-  A mini us, on the other hand, would be cute as fuck.  But really goddamn annoying to parent, so no.  Definitely don't want it.
You know what would be fun?
Going to the beach.
-waits a moment, then finishes- In case you couldnât tell, this is me hinting that you should take me to the beach.
-rolls her eyes-  You literally showed up at my Harpies practice, kidlet, I think you're capable of taking yourself to the beach...
I am so glad you feel that way, sunshine. *grins and kisses her lips*
Only thing that's even slightly cute about them is how much they look like their parents. But the crying and annoying other shit overshadows that pretty fucking quickly.
I found this blog the other day called âReasons my son is cryingâ. Itâs safe to say that I never want kids.
They're ridiculous, annoying, and super fucking bratty all the time. Â And messy. Â -wrinkles nose- Â I don't know why anyone would want them, honestly.

Shang down half the glass in one shot before placing it back onto the counter, listening to her chat away as he did. âIâm glad you had a good time. Of course you deserve the reputation.â Checking that the meat was cooked enough, he added the vegetables, noodles and a few sauces. âJust a stir-fry. I figured simple was best.â He sighed, trying to best describe his day. Heâd gone to work hungover once again and his boss hadnât gone easy on him. Not that he was in trouble, he was just being forced to work harder. âToday was pretty rough.â Shang finally said, knowing if he was going to ever get her trust back, heâd need to earn it. âMy boss is working me to the core, but I think it shouldnât be long until Iâm a fully fledged auror. Everyone says I have a lot of promise. Which is nice, they donât need to say that.â He smiled. âWanna go set the table? Iâm nearly done here.â
Hopping up on the counter and swinging her feet, Vidia watched him cook intently. Â "Smells really good." She commented, grinning at him. Â "Course, I was planning on ramen for dinner, so anything's better than that." Â She watched the expressions flit over his face as he told her about his day. Â "Of course you have a lot of promise. Â Wouldn't be dating you if you didn't, you giant fuckhead." Â She smirked, letting him know that she was kidding. Â "You should be used to hard work, though, why was it so rough?"
She leaned over and nuzzled a few kisses into his neck before hopping down and grabbing plates, sliding them next to him so that he could easily plate the stirfry up before she went to the drawers, grabbing cutlery and placing it on the table. Â Topping up his glass and hers, she placed them and the bottle of wine on the table as well. Â

Hearing her walk up behind him, Shang smiled, leaning back into her a little as she wrapped her arms around him. He continued cooking as he spoke. âYeah, I was pretty tired, but I had to see you.â Not that he could really see her at the moment. He looked down to where her head was poking out from and grinned. âHey you.â He leaned down to place a kiss on top of her head, his hands stilling momentarily. âThereâs wine in the fridge, get it and open it and then you can tell me all about your first day.â He grinned and kissed her once more before tossing the chopped up beef into the fry pan.Â
A genuine, soft smile spread over Vidia's face and she tightened her arms around Shang's waist, squeezing lightly before letting him go and stepping over to the fridge, grabbing the wine and pouring them both a glass. Â Walking back over to him, she passed him one of the glasses and leaned against his side, not caring that she was probably hindering his cooking. Â "It was exhausting... But great." Â Her eyes sparkled with excitement. Â "The captain runs a lot of drills... I can appreciate that." She smirked, remembering all the drills and early morning practices she put her own team through at Hogwarts. Â "Their strategies are good. Â They- We- deserve our reputation." Â
She pressed a small kiss to his shoulder, watching him cook. Â "How was your day? Â What're you making me?"

It had been a long day and Shang was tired. Heâd wanted nothing more than to go home and collapse on his bed still in his auror robes, but Vidia had had her first day with the Harpies today and Shang wanted to do something nice for her. So instead he stopped by the grocery store on his way to her place, picking up the ingrediants for a good meal, something he knew she wouldnât have at her new place. If he didnât cook for her, sheâd end up getting take out. Arriving at her place, Shang let himself in and stood in the doorway as he took his shoes off - old habits died hard. As he stood, he listened for any noise. It wasnât that he had planned on surprising her, it would just be a bonus if he did. Hearing the shower running, Shang grinned and made his way into the kitchen with the bags of groceries.Â
He placed a bottle of champagne in the fridge to chill and began to set out the groceries, it was a good thing heâd brought the basic utensils. Did she really not have anything in her house? Shang chuckled to himself as he began to chop up the vegetables. Heâd decided on Chinese food. Just a simple stir-fry that would be quick enough to prepare and still nutricous enough for someone who had just spent a couple hours training. The mixture of protein, carbs and vegetables should help with any aching muscles as well. Soon he was lost in himself, thinking about the long day heâd had and anticipating seeing Vidia again.
Stepping out of the shower after a long half hour, Vidia wrapped her towel around herself and knotted it just above her breasts. Â Hearing clattering in the kitchen, a small smile spread over her face. Â The only people able to get through her wards were Gus, Bella, Lydia, Heath and Shang... And the only one in that list that would be likely to sneak in and start cooking was definitely Shang. Â Pointing her wand at her dripping hair to dry it, Vidia padded out of the bathroom and down the hall, quietly walking up behind Shang and wrapping her arms around his waist. Â Resting her cheek against his back, she sighed contentedly and felt the last traces of tension leave her body.
"Thought you'd be tired tonight, Li, wasn't expecting you here." Â She murmured, smiling. Â "Not that I'm complaining..." Â Trailing off, Vidia poked her head under his arm to watch what he's doing. Â "Especially if you're cooking."

Slinging her Quidditch bag over her shoulder and nodding a goodbye over her shoulder at her teammates that were still dawdling in the locker room, Vidia headed out the door. Â After spending the day on her broom running drill after drill, only broken by the odd team meeting to teach her, Ellen, and the other new team members the strategies that the Harpies preferred, Vidia was exhausted from head to toe. Â Looking forward to getting home and relaxing, she stepped onto the apparition point near the pitch and turned sharply, disappearing from the point and reappearing in the middle of her living room.
Shuddering and wrinkling her nose at the feeling of being stretched out like a rubber band and then snapped back into place that apparition caused, Vidia threw her bag onto the couch and headed to the shower, stripping her clothes off and leaving a trail of them along her path. Â She sighed in relief as she stepped under the hot water, opting to take a long shower to relax her muscles. Â
-Writing an owl letter-
-In his boxers in his room, getting changed. Flails in surprise and jumps onto his bed as Vid appears. Turns beet red, can only stare at her for a minute until he realizes his state of dress. Frantically scrambles under the covers, mortified-
V-vid!? Wh-what the f-fuck?!
-Leans against the door and snickers loudly as she watches his flailing. Â Notices his change in body mass and grins sincerely, glad that he's looking much more healthy-
Imagine finding you here -grins, but sobers quickly- Â That was a really fucking nonchalant way to tell me that shit about your dad, mister.
-Writing an owl letter-
Hey,
Guess what. Missing Dad has been found. Turns out Mum knew the whole time but just wasnât going to tell us. Heck, they werenât going to tell me until Theo went behind their backs. Long story. Anyways, ends up Dad just up and left us because he couldnât handle he pressure of being Mr. Money as well as a Dad. Boo hoo, I say. Anyways, thought youâd be interested to know.
Gus
-Ties to Nuggetâs leg, sends her off-
-walking out of the Harpies training ground about to apparate back to her place in Hogsmeade when she's run into by Nugget. Â Takes the letter off the owl's leg and pets her gently while she reads it. Â Looks more and more worried and changes her plan, apparating to Gus's instead. Â Appears inside his bedroom.- Â
GUS?!Â
-walking around enjoying the sunshine-
-sees her and nods- Â Konic.
-sitting in a random table obviously pissed off-
God damn adults donât know when to shut their mouths.Â
No one knows when to shut their fucking mouths. Â Ever. Â It's a fact of life, or some shit.
