Here's some stuff I drew of Hell's most terrorizing family!! 😁😁😁 They are not normal.

In this rewrite (and WHAT IM HOPING FOR IN CANON PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLE) Alastor made his deal with Lilith. I won't go into TOO much detail on what the deal entails (I have some... ideas🤭) but one of the mannnnny fucked up parts of it makes Alastor physically unable to stop smiling (like in canon im pretty sure!!!!)

The only difference would be the reason BEHIND why Lilith wanted that.

Lilith always had a soft spot for smiles (Lucifer and Charlie, despite doing it for SICK AND CRAZY REASONS, WERE always smiling. They just always had a hoot and a ball hurting Sinners and stuff) Lilith loved their smiles and put that love into making sure ALASTOR COULD NEVER STOP IT!!!

Have I mentioned that the family is very not normal? LMAOO

Also by the time I finished drawing this, I remembered that THE ONLY THING THAT CAN PIERCE ANGELS ARE ANGELIC STEEL....

I think that by the time Vaggie and Charlie met, neither of them knew how to cook (I saw headcanons saying that vaggie can cook and I thought this was funnier)

Charlie always had servants when she was still living at home but ever since she left, she's basically been thugging it out. Vaggie loved military slop and never needed to worry about when her next meal would be LMAOOOO

It took a LOT of trial and error for them to learn, but they learned TOGETHER <3<3<3<3<3

Presently, they're pretty decent cooks 😋

HOW DID WE LIKE THAT I MADE VAGGIE WITH SUPER EPIC, VERY EDGY BLACK WINGS IN THE FINALE?????? (you might not have even realized, black doesnt translate well when the drawings are grayscale so my fault LMAO)

I need fallen angels to go back to their roots, nightcore cover art of anime girls crying with dark wings OKAY????

I think it gives a nice distinction between angels/Winners and the fallen! (especially bc I didn't give ANY wing variety bc I dont wanna draw super complex wings hahaha)

In this rewrite, since Vaggie doesn't get her wings until the Finale, it probably wasn't too much of a surprise to Charlie since she had more time to come to terms with the whole Angel thing (the Finale takes place a few months after Welcome to Heaven) 😋

Not gonna lie winners still looking like a human makes sense rather then being an animal or an object. Also like the idea of glimmers (sinner turned winner) having a bit sinner parts when they were a sinner

Thanks!!!! I figured that since it's Heaven, the people there shouldn't,,,, look different from when they were alive. I feel like that would be like such a body horror punishment that should be reserved for only the Sinners of Hell!!

So the Finale huh? How'd you like it? I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did making it!!! I kept the ending of S1 the same with Winner!Pen with just one small detail....

HIS DESIGN OBVIOUSLY!!!!

I like to think that (in this rewrite), the Winners in Heaven all look human/what they looked like when they were alive, the only mortals who's appearance change are the Sinners in Hell to look more monstrous/inhuman as like, another sorta of vain punishment

BUT!!!! A Sinner-Turned-Winner!!! (Who I MAY be calling a Glimmer) (And a Winner-Turned-Sinner would be a Dimmer. Still work shopping the names BUT I LIKE THOSE BC THEYRE SO FUNNY TO ME!!!!! LMK WHAT YOU THINK!!). They would retain SOME physical attributes from when they were a Sinner, so for Pentious' case, wmhr would be human but with a few snake qualities :)

AND MOLLY!!! Ok I have a lot of thoughts about Molly..... I'll put it under the cut in case you wanna skip

So first off, HOW COME ANTHONY AND THEIR BROTHER JOHNATHAN HAVE COOL DRUG NICKNAMES AND SHE DOESN'T???? WHY IS HER NAME JUST MOLLY (as in her drug name is also her actual name)????

I think Molly should be her nickname (like Anthony's is Angel Dust) and her actual name is Marcella (a beautiful Italian name)

Like what I wrote in the notes of the drawing, I think she was as big of a part of their crime family as Anthony was, BUT after Anthony died (in a gang shoot out, ty to @aestheticallypleasinggalaxy for coming up w/ his cause of death, love that idea), it made her sorta open her eyes and realize, "oh wow, im gonna die just like my twin, and doing what?? Petty fucking crime?? NO THANKS!!!!"

So she left the family FOR GOOD and never looked back. This drastic in life, this REBELLION against bad, and her whole life after that is what got her a place in Heaven.

Also she pulls Emily SUE ME OK???? I think they're CUTE TOGETHER

Will Adam come back or is stuck being dead in your au? By the way, I love your au and the designs, they are amazing!!

Im gonna be honest, I do NOT like the whole Sinner!Adam thing that a lot of the fandom (from what I know of) is hoping for

Like I do get it, a lot of ppl LOVED Adam, I'd be upset if my fav died off in such a lackluster way in canon too!

But unfortunately in this rewrite, my Adam's story is done. I wrote him and his character with the intention of killing him in the finale because that's what I knew needed to happen.

He's the antagonist of S1 but I wanted him to be one that could be sympathized with and understood, which would make it ALL THE MORE AWFUL when he is ultimately killed by Charlie! (But I'm not calling him perfect, he's made his fair share of mistakes in his loooooong after-life like going w the Exterminations and stuff (and let's be honest, he was trying to kill Charlie at the end just a much as she was trying to kill him LOL)

I'm sorry if I've disappointed anyone with that revelation!!! But I do thank you for enjoying my rewrite!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

But like I said here, I still have SO MUCH MORE TO COME!!!

Doodles for the finale and some things that I picture will be BIG points in S2 of this rewrite!!!

A lot of the post-finale stuff is written w the drawings BUT I do wanna say that the hotel isn't getting rebuilt in just one 4 minute song

It's gonna be something that's gonna be in the slow process of rebuilding over the course of season 2, serving not only of a physical representation of how the whole idea of the Hazbin Hotel is basically starting over from scratch due to what happened in the finale (tarnished reputation bc of Adam's death, redemption being possible, etc)

AND it will also be another force in the season why characters STILL won't take our gang seriously DESPITE THE FACT THAT CHARLIE AND VAGGIE'S THEORY WAS RIGHT, the hotel is nothing but scaffolding and garbage by the time season 2 takes place, who's gonna believe THAT PLACE is the holy grail for redemption?

And there's some ramblings about this rewrite and what im considering moving forward!!! Just about my thoughts for season 2!! Feel free to read, or not!

I'm still on the fence with how I wanna go about season 2. On one hand, Im really curious to see how the writers decided to have the next season play out in canon and I'd totally be willing to implement any ideas that I liked just like I did with what I have so far!!!!

But on the other hand..... I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS........ So many plotlines for the story and the characters that I WANNA DO!!!!!! I WANT LILITH TO BE THE ONE WHO ALASTOR MADE THE DEAL WITH, I WANT ALASTOR AND CHARLIE TO FIGHT, I WANT LUTE AND VAGGIE TO FAC EACH OTHER AGAIN I WANT EMILY AND CHARLIE TO BE ON AWFUL FOOTING I WANT SO MANY MANY MANY THINGS MAN!!!!!

I have a lot of ideas and theories that I wanna do in this that I KNOW will get disproven when the actual show gets its next season and Im scared of this turning into something else entirely.

I mean, Im not scared of it being something different, Im just worried that people wont wanna read it if it strays too far away from the source material. Ik a lot of people (myself ESPECIALLYYYY) get turned off when it comes to super convoluted aus that has so much story and shit and is so far away from canon, too much to follow -> ppl don't care (like i get it, I AM THE SAME WAY OK........)

But does this stuff make any sense??? idkkk

I have a couple posts worth of doodles that I'll be uploading w in these days so look forward to that!

And I definitely have some ideas that I'll be sharing about this rewrite's version of S2 so.... I guess if people like what I have planned for it, I'll keep going? IDK!!!!!!

FINALE PART OF "FINALE"

The battle was over and Hell had won. Hell WON… Some had fallen but they WON.

The second Vaggie set Charlie down on the ground after saving her, Charlie sprayed a wave of fire out from her mouth in a mighty roar, shooting it up into the sky.

She was ANGRY, some got away, THEY’RE ALIVE!! 

ANGELS GOT AWAY! THIS ISN’T OVER! CHARLIE DIDN’T KILL EVERYONE AND HEAVEN WILL BE BACK! 

Vaggie: Charlie-! Calm down! It’s over!

CALM DOWN!? She can’t calm down SHE WON’T CALM DOWN! HOW WAS IT OVER SO SOON!? THERE WAS STILL SO MUCH TO BE FINISHED! SO MANY LIVES SHE DIDN’T END YET!

Charlie fucking SLAMS her fist into the ground- 

BOOOOOOM!!!!

Charlie made a huge crater, the force of her single assault shook the ground beneath their feet with a 20 mile radius 

Charlie was huffing and puffing, smoke seethed out from between clenched teeth. A firm hand on her shoulder made her snap her eyes towards the owner, a growl bubbled from her throat and- “Charlie,” Vaggie’s voice was firm, “Stop.”

Vaggie was probably the only person who knew Charlie’s anger, the only person who REALLY KNEW how much of an issue it truly could be. She knew how out of hand it could get, how easily it could come about and how dangerous it had the potential to be (just look at what she did to…). She knew when to let Charlie let it out and when to nip it in the bud.

Charlie had already done too much. 

Vaggie’s words seemed to extinguish her fire completely. Charlie turned her eyes down to her hands. Her bloody, GOLDEN hands…

(Charlie killed Adam. He’s dead, because of HER. One of the only people in Heaven who even had the SLIGHTEST ounce of agreement to want an end to the Exterminations. Had she just ruined her only chance of getting this idea to work…?)

Hiccups and sobs filled her ears from above her. Vaggie, she was crying.

That angel, Lute, they had history, didn’t they..?

Just as all their embraces happen, they weren’t exactly sure who initiated it but before either of them knew it, Vaggie was on the ground with Charlie. Their arms, sleeves torn, bruised and cracked skin, wrapped around each other. Fists clenched and grabbing as much of the other as they possibly could. 

The battle was over.

For now.

The first ever Extermination that ended with the Exorcists fleeing. 

They had WON…

But…

(Looking at the ruins that surrounded them, their friends who’ve died, their friends who were badly injured, the hotel, their house, all completely decimated… The guilt and shame they both carried, guilt and shame that would stay with them for the rest of their long lives…)

It didn’t feel like it.

Everything was destroyed. 

But it could always be rebuilt...

PART FOUR OF "FINALE"

In another second, Charlie turned back into her normal form and, with the same amount of agility as before, climbed Adam and bounced around his body with so much speed that he couldn’t keep track of her. 

“HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” She grabbed a hold of his collar with one fist, wrapping her legs around his shoulders and with her other hand, lifted it up Heavencast and-!

FWOOSSHH!!!

Waves upon waves of fire thrusted out from her palm, PROPELLING them downwards at speeds even faster than to which they came UP!

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!”

There was no time! He couldn’t stop it-! He couldn’t react-! He couldn’t think-! 

All Adam could process was the manic laughter that filled his ears!

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!”

CRASH!!!!!

Adam crashed into what he could only imagine were the remains of the Hazbin Hotel. Not that he was thinking about that. In fact, he must have blacked out for a while, he didn’t know how long. 

But when he finally came to, amongst the rumble and remnants of this land, his ears were ringing, his vision was blurry, all he could hear was the sound of his heartbeat thumping in his throat.

And he was filled with an unimaginable sense of dread.

He couldn’t move. Too many broken bones, a fractured skull, internal bleeding. He tasted blood. 

The dust didn’t clear yet, it was so hard to see. 

A figure, too tall and hunched with two horns sprouting up from its cursed head, one straight, the other crooked. 

It was approaching. 

Adam could hardly breathe. Sulfur and ash filled his lungs and he felt like he was choking again. He needed to get away! He needed to leave NOW! THEY ALL NEEDED TO! THEY MUST RETREAT!

The little air that he struggled to hold onto left his body when the hellspawn dropped onto his chest. 

Charlie sat on Adam, hunching to keep their faces inches apart. 

She stared at him, and despite the war still raging on around them, her own ragged breathing was the only thing he was able to hear.

Adam could do nothing but stare back, fear clasped onto his spine and wouldn't let go, not permitting him to move. 

All he could do was stare at the product of the worst event of his life.

“I-.....” He croaked out through shattered ribs, he wasn’t coming back from this one, “I… should have stopped her”

He squeezed his eyes shut, “It’s all my fault”

It was his mistake. Humanity was damned because of his sin. All of humanity is doomed to sin forever and always for all eternity, human souls will continue becoming Sinners because of HIM.

The overpopulation was HIS fault, the Exterminations as a result were HIS fault. THIS BATTLE was his fault.

Charlotte sat up, her body cracking and creaking as she did. Adam winced at the weight shifting on his broken body.

She looked down at him, her face read no emotion. She just stared.

It was savage in a way. There was fire just behind those corneas, he could see it rage on when he looked at her. She was a wild animal. A beast. 

Beasts were not capable of feeling, not in the ways that Sinners or Winners could, not in the way MORTAL SOULS could. 

The spawn of Hell would always be just that, an unfeeling, unchanging, horrifying beast.

Charlotte Morningstar slashed at Adam’s throat.

And then she did it again.

And again.

And again. 

And again. 

AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND-!

Charlie SLAMMED her claws into Adam and kept clawing and maiming his LIFELESS BODY. GOLD SPLATTERED ONTO HER FACE, GOT UNDERNEATH HER TALONS AND INTO HER MOUTH. BUT SHOULD SHE CARE? NO! SHE SHOULDN’T AND SHE DOESN’T! 

ALL CHARLIE COULD DO WAS CONTINUE SLASHING CONTINUE KILLING! HE WAS ALREADY DEAD, BUT SHE NEEDED TO KEEP GOING! KEEP GOING, KEEP CLAWING, KEEP SLAMMING HER FISTS INTO HIM UNTIL HE WAS UNIDENTIFIABLE FROM THE FIRST MAN!!

Charlie cranked her head down to the ground, near what used to be Adam’s head. 

Her tongue slithered out from between the razors in her maw and lapped around his halo, still shining as brightly as it had when she first saw him.

She took the halo between her teeth.

And bit it into two halves.

Vaggie is still staring down at Lute. 

Lute is still staring up at Vaggie.

Lute: WELL GO ON! DO IT! KILL ME! LORD KNOWS YOU HAVE YOUR CHANCE NOW!

Vaggie is crying just as much as Lute. 

Vaggie:I-...

Before they could continue, there’s screaming, more screaming than earlier. It wasn't the kind of battle cries or of rage and revenge. 

It was of franticness, anxiety and FEAR.

“ADAM HAS DIED!

“THE MORNINGSTAR HAS KILLED HIM!”

“WHAT DO WE DO!?”

“WHERE’S LUTE?!”

Angel, Husk and Niffty all stayed together for the rest of the battle after what happened with Alastor, they were able to stick to each other, TRUST that they had each others’ backs. 

They were in the middle of fending off a crowd of Exorcists when they all suddenly became erratic once the news of Adam’s death began spreading across the battlefield

Niffty: He’s dead?!

Husk: Charlie actually killed him?

Angel: Oh shit- WE GOTTA FIND CHARLIE!

Vaggie’s head darted back and forth, looking erratically in all directions and trying to process all the new-found chaos.

Charlie killed Adam. He’s dead. 

Vaggie looked back down at Lute, who made no move to get up. She just kept staring at Vaggie, her grip on her arm so tight it looked like her fingers might just break. 

Vaggie: Adam’s dead. I-

Vaggie stopped, the lump in her throat not allowing her to continue. She gripped her face, covering her eye as ugly sobs escaped from her clenched teeth.

“I can’t kill you” Vaggie finally admitted

Vaggie couldn’t kill Lute. And Lute couldn’t kill Vaggie.

What were they to do?

Vaggie: I want to. I WANT TO! But-... But I can’t. I CAN’T DO IT!

She couldn’t kill Lute for the same reasons Lute couldn’t kill her. Lute was her mentor. She was her confidant. Her teacher. Her EVERYTHING. 

They loved each other. 

Vaggie threw her spear to the floor, stood her ground, tall and strong, and jerked her hand up behind her, pointing, “GO!”

Lute didn’t move, she couldn’t move. She couldn’t even speak.

Vaggie: I SAID GO! NOW! 

Wordlessly, Lute got to her feet and spread her wings.

“FALL BACK!” Lute barked at the top of her lungs, her booming voice echoed through the battlefield

Charlie was still slashing at Adam’s butchered corpse when Lute’s “FALL BACK” rang through her ears.

In an instant she jolted up to standing. NO! THEY WEREN’T GETTING AWAY, NO ONE WAS! CHARLIE WANTED EVERYBODY DEAD!!! 

SHE WASN'T GOING TO STOP UNTIL EVERYBODY WAS DEAD!

All Charlie could see was Hellfire and all she could hear were the screams of the damned and she needed MORE AND MORE AND MORE AND MORE!!! 

Angels flew by overhead and she chased them- no, HUNTED THEM! THEY WERE HER’S TO HUNT! THEY WERE IN HER DOMAIN SO THEY WERE HEE'S TO PLAY WITH, TO HUNT, TO EAT, TO KILL!

The enormous portal to Heaven opened back up at the edge of the cliff.

Charlie chased and killed as many Exorcists as she could reach, catapulting herself off debris, stomping over the corpses of those Sinners fallen, NO ONE WAS GOING TO GET IN THE WAY OF WHAT SHE WANTED! 

Lute soared close to the ground, flying past Adam’s lifeless form, swiping up one half of his broken halo.

She had flown past a rabid and HUNGRY CHARLIE!! WHO CHASED AFTER HER! Lute was fast and despite Charlie being naturally faster, she didn’t catch her. Lute knew in the back of her mind, past all the fear and her survival instincts that Charlie just wanted to play with her food. BUT LUTE WASN’T GOING TO DIE! NOT HERE! NOT IN HELL! NOT AFTER VAGGIE JUST SPARED HER-!

Charlie chased the Angels to the portal to Heaven, her long tongue sticking out from her drooling maw and her eyes blown wide, wider than any Heavenly being had ever witnessed before. It made them fly faster. 

In swarms, the Exorcist fled into the portal, Charlie not too far behind, cutting and slicing whatever poor angel that was unlucky enough for her to reach, slicing them clean in half. 

“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

Lute watched from directly in front of the portal, silently doing a headcount as her Exorcist Angels escaped Hell as fast as they could.

She watched as the Morningstar spawn wasn’t too far behind, painted in golden blood. She was fast approaching and Lute barked out a couple more commands to hurry it up!

The portal was off the cliff, a few hundred feet away from it, below was a sea of dark blood, crashing waves and rocks of spikes. But despite this, the demon didn’t make any efforts to slow down or stop as she was fast approaching the end of the rock face.

Then, Lute’s breath got stuck in her throat.

Charlotte pounced off the edge of the cliff. She couldn’t be serious! There was no way she could make this jump! Even for all her strength, it was too far! She’s gone mad!

And Lute was right. The demon couldn’t make the jump.

She managed to get a good birth from the cliff but it proved not enough, as soon as Charlie neared the middle distance between he cliff and the portal, her leap began dropping downwards and-

“CHARLIE!”

Lute’s head darted away from the descending demon and her eyes widened as she spotted Vaggie barreling off the edge of the cliff as well. THAT IDIOT! DID SHE WANT TO GET HERSELF KILLED ALONG WITH THAT HELLSPAWN!?

Lute felt her body jerk forward in its spot flying in the sky before she froze again-

FWOOSH!

Vaggie caught Charlotte.

Vaggie was-

“She’s flying…” Lute mumbled to herself 

Vaggie was flying. Her wings. Wings that she REMEMBERED slicing clean off 3 years ago had sprouted from her back just as any other angel could. FLYING just like any other angel.

And she had caught the demon.

All of a sudden, Lute couldn’t breathe again. 

Vaggie’s wings had grown back? How? Was it instinct? Was it pure luck? She had saved Charlotte. Lute didn’t even know it was possible for the wings of an angel to grow back after being sliced off by an angelic blade…

Vaggie had caught Charlie by under her arms and was currently flying them away from the portal and back to the ground. Lute stared at Vaggie.

How did she do that? How could her wings just… grow back like that?

Her wings grew back to save the Heir. 

Even after all this time, even after everything that’s happened, Vaggie still found ways to surprise Lute.

Vaggie glanced back at her one last time.

Lute continued to stare from the other side of the portal, even after it closed.

(This is when Vaggie's wings grow back, the FIRST TIME she has them since they were cut off, she does NOT get them in “Hello Rosie”)
