the heavily asoiaf inspired knight au that lives mostly in my head is like. randy and vic are the two most important knights in julio’s kingsguard and they’re both kind of in love with him but it’s obviously impossible because he’s the king(maybe crown prince?) and needs to marry for political gain plus they’re sworn to celibacy. except they’re all outcasts and don’t really have control of their kingdom because there was a usurpation so they’re trying to amass enough support to fight a war to take the throne back. it’s probably hopeless though. but they’ll do anything for julio. and also randy/vic are breaking their oaths to sleep w each other of course.
