a tape is lying on the kitchen counter
Where it came from or who put it there is a mystery. It hasn't been touched, and may never be, but if someone played it, they'd see this.
The tv flashes onto a grainy, low quality recording of Celino sitting at a desk. He seems a bit sickly, and on edge.
"Um.. My name is Celino Johnson Junior, and I..." he sighs, rubbing his face " I've been sober for about two and a half days now. I don't even know why my body is re-acting. But I don't feel good. I'm staying in here until this whole withdrawal fades out."
The video cuts off, followed by a minute or so of white noise. Another recording starts. Celino sits in the same place, looking even more pale. His hair is sticking to his face and he's shaking.
"I-- I, um.. it's been... about a week.. that i've been here in this room for... a week, I think. I- I would leave but.. I can't remember how to get around the base. Even my room is a little tricky. I'll get out when it comes back to me."
This recording stops and is followed by several more consisting only of Celino stating how long he'd been in the room, looking more and more sickly each time. This continues until about the 6th installment, in which he only stares at the camera.
Theres nothing but white noise for about 14 minutes. It would appear that the tape is over but with patience you'd find two more recordings. The first is only a few seconds of Celino lying on a bed. The next is just the empty room. Then the tape is over.
Under said tape is a note. The note says
"I'm sorry. I don't think I'll be coming back this time. Tell Vance that I love him. Tell my Mom I said she was the best Mom ever and tell everyone else that I'm sorry. Maybe you will all miss me, but I'm not pussying out anymore. I'm not going to be a burden all my life.

P.S.- Please retrieve the box under the couch and throw it away. Don't look in it, please."
