okay, so i read this one quite a while ago, but i remember really enjoying it. there’s quite a bit of angst from zuko’s pov, but you’re in for a treat with the wonderful writing!

the thing about dancing by anodymalion

The first time a attendant spills Zuko’s tea and doesn’t immediately fall to her knees, begging the Fire Lord’s forgiveness, it is not anger but a resounding warmth that fills his chest.

overall this was a very beautiful fic that i feel really captured how zuko may have felt after becoming firelord and having to undo all of his father’s harsh ways of ruling the fire nation.
