barely  there  tug  of  smile ,     palm  of  hand  clamp  down  at  the  back  of  his  neck     :     eyes  kept  on  the  bag .     not  really  his  usually  delivery     &     would  probably  be  easier  to  show  someone  else .     likes  to  not  be  commited  to  one  place ,     instead  wanders  from  place  to  place     :     whichever  is  in  need  of  what  he  found .     easier     to  live  like  that .     ❛     eh ,     i  could  show  them  where  to  go  instead .     know  where  to  look ,     it’s  a  lot  of  it .     ❜     doesn’t  seem  like  it’s  something  most  would  find  of  value .     ❛     sure     .     .     .     now  it’s  hard  to  find  something  useful  more  times  than  not .     what  are  you  gonna  use  it  for     ?     ❜

❛     here ,     ❜     can  of  food  is  warm  at  least ,     guess  it’s     something .     not  every  day  you  get  to  enjoy  it  like  that  anymore .     fire  is  risky  to  start ,     but  for  now     :     everything  seem  safe  at  the  time  being .     for  a  few  moments  they  can  just  relax ,     eat  food     &     pretend  it’s  normal .     and  it  is  he  guess .     their     new     normal .     just  gotta  get  used  to  how  the  world  has  decided  to  spin .     ❛     not  a  lot  left  but ,     something  until  we  can  find  anything  else .     ❜

brows  pull  together     &     head  tilt  in  her  direction     :     gaze  flicker  over  to  her  instead  of  watching  the  streets  flooded  with  walkers .     ❛     we’re  not .     ❜     wanted  to .     several  times .     but  that’s  not     now .     walks  over  to  one  of  the  floorboards     :     third  one  from  the  wall     &     he  leans  down  to  picks  at  it ,     until  he  can  remove  it     &     revealing  the  small  room  beneath .     some  bottles  of  waters ,     cans  of  food  and  even  a  bar  of  chocolate .     just  like  he  left  it .     not  sure  if  it’s  safe  to  eat  still ,     but  it’s  certainly  more  than  they  got  on  themself .     one  of  many  places  he’s  got     something     stored .     ❛     we’re  just  waiting  it  out .     ❜

everything  feels  fuzzy .     head  feels  heavy     &     every  muscle  feels  sore .     doesn’t  even     want     to  try  and  move .     knows     it     is     going     to     hurt .     last  thing  he  remembers  is  jesus  standing  over  him     &     after  that  everything  went  blank .     much  time  couldn’t  have  passed  from  that .     someone  is  talking     .     .     .     it’s  a  familiar  voice  that  makes  it  a  little  more  tempting  to  try  and  open  eyes .     he’s     going     to     be     fine .     definitely  billie .     never  heard  anyone  be  more  certain  and  reassuring  of  something .     eyes  flutter  open  after  a  few  seconds     :     only  barely ,     takes  in  the  bright  light     &     white  sheets .     grimace  of     pain     stretch  across  features     :     groan  rumble  from  the  back  of  his  throat  as  he  tries  to  take  in  surroundings .     not  exactly  a  easy  task ,     but  at  least  he  tries .     tries  to  wake  up ,     tries  to  do  something .
