i am very sorry for my absence, on this and all my blogs. the muse hasnt really been there (for obvious reason) but i still love my littel thief son and do want to bring him back. i think i need to archive this blog in order to achieve it. this blog is almost two years old and is a mess. there are too many drafts, and the tags are horrible. at this point i need a fresh start with robin. so im going to work on doing that. if there are any drafts/verses youd like to keep let me knowÂ
There is another conversation going on in another universe. Maybe one thatâs reminiscent of the one world they left to come here. but here, Marisa is just simply tired of being alone. She hates that Alek sacrificed himself for her, leaving her all alone. Heâs gone and she canât eve see him again. She hates to be alone if even for the smallest of moments. Its in those moments that she starts to sees his blue eyes and hears his voice and hopes that in some other universe the two of them are happy when she and him canât be.  She wishes she can hold him once more. Just one minute. She pleads with the universe to beam her up, but it falls on deaf ears.Â
2. Come As You Are by NirvanaÂ
âCome as you are.â His words are reassuring only a little because sheâs still nervous. Nervous to meet his family. How does one even begin to impress the gods? But he keeps trying to reassure her that they will love her as she is. But sheâs doubtful of that. Not many humans get to meet their makers after all. Alek keeps telling her that they wonât kill her or take her memories, but everything that Marisaâs read about them seems to say otherwise. Sheâs been nervous from the second that he mentioned that he could take her up to Olympus, and still has this bad feeling in the pit of her stomach that this isnât going to end well.
3. Afraid by The Neighbourhood
Sheâs always had this fear that sheâs replaceable. That one day sheâs going to wake up and find out that Alek has moved on. Sheâd never fight it if he did leave. There are times when she can be mean and rude, especially towards him. And she has these dreams where exactly this has happened. Her own special brand of demon. Heâs waiting for the day when he says âfuck youâ and leaves. Itâs why she always tries to wake up before him. When sheâs awake no one can take the place of herself. But if he does leave, she does know that it would be the end of life as she knew it. The thought leaves her anxious and afraid and she just holds onto him a little longer for as long as she can. she wont lose him, she refuses to let her demons win.Â

âiâve been trying hard to reach you.â She nearly cries into his voicemail. All day sheâs just wanteed to talk to him. She canât help but feel like something is wrong and suddenly sheâs unsure about their future. She found out news that would change everything. Sheâs pregnant. She wants to know how heâd react, but as she sits and waits she feels more lost and unsure about what to do. Why hasnât he answered his phone? Where is their future going to be? Can they still be together once she tells him the news? There are som many uestions that crcle in her mind and she has to stop herself from crying. She refuses to completely be dependent on him. She will figure this out on her own if she has to. Nothing is making sense in her mind anymore, and all she wants to do is to talk to him.Â

Sheâs in pain. She canât live with him and canât live without him either. She broke up with him, afraid that he was going to hurt her but now she regretted her decision. She wants him back but thinks that theyâre going to end up hurting each other again. They fought a lot before she had ended it, and thatâs why she had to get out of that relationship. But couples fight all the time right? Sheâs tempted to run over to him and beg him to take her back. But she doesnât. Not if their relationship is going to cause her more pain. Instead she lies crying in her bed contemplating what she was going to do. Her heart wonât be able to take all this back and forth anymore or it will break for good.Â

âTell me another story.â She whispered as they laid together in his bed one night. She trusted him so much. In a way that she never had with anyone else before. For the first time she wanted to tell him everything about herself. She was ready to give all her secrets away to him. She wanted him in her life for the rest of her life and she wasnât sure why that was. She hoped he felt the same about her. No more lies. It was time for them to be completely open about themselves and about who they were. And for once the thought didnât terrify her. She wanted him to know it all.

He made her so many promises, ones that she believed completely. Everyone, including her sister said that they wouldnât last and for once she wanted for them to be wrong. She was going to make this work between them. But of course he was taken from her before it could even really begin. And her sister turned out to be right. She thought of only him as the time passed on, and hoped that they could meet again. But her memories were slipping of him and she missed him so much. She wished for forever with the man who she could never have. He was gone and she wouldnât get him back.

Sheâs depressed. Wonât even bother to eat or get out of bed. She still loves him so much, and will probably never love anyone as much as she loves him. She calls out for him sometimes and canât even begin to explain how much she misses him. Heâs really gone, dead. All because of his dumb uncle Hades. Why did he have to step in front of her and save them. She looks for him in the faces of the crowd, hoping that she will see him again. She wonât. She feels as if sheâs lost a part of her. Sheâs trying to move on. To not cry so much, but she sees him everywhere and it hurts so much. She sleeps in his clothes and thinks about him all the time. Heâd probably yell at her for all the crying sheâs doing. One day sheâll move on. That much she can promise him. But sheâll never stop missing him.

100 days without him. Thatâs how long itâs been since she saw him. Since she last held him. Sheâs older and colder now. Shut off all of her emotions. He still haunts her dreams and she thinks about him all of the time. Itâs probably not healthy for her or the child growing in her womb still but thatâs all she can do to not completely lose her mind. Sheâs still holding onto a hope that life is going to get better without him, but sheâs not sure. Sheâs so lonely and still just craves his touch. She wants him back. Itâs not fair that he was taken from her, from their growing family. Sheâll always love him and wants him to be there with her. To watch her grow with their child. In her dreams they are together and she likes to believe that he comes and visits her then.Â

Robin smiled as he held onto his small daughter. She was perfect. His little Emma, mostly because she looked just like her mother. She was everything that Robin had ever wanted, something that he didnât even know that he was missing in his life. His wife was asleep on the bed, exhausted from the hours of labor their little one put her through. He hummed softly as he rocked his little girl. âIâll be good to you my little daughter. There is going to be a day when someone breaks your heart, but I promise you theyâll have to speak to me.â He whispered as he kissed her head. No one would be able to hurt his little girl. Emma, he knew would be good to her too. She was going to be well protected.

Oh the things he wished he could say to his friends to get off his back. He didnât love Emma and there was nothing he could do to make himself have feelings for her. He felt as if time was against them and now knew that there would be miles between them. Maybe he would wait for her.

He sat there or rather floated next to Emma as his life began to flash before him. He knew that this was the end. His life was going to end. He kept trying to hang on for her. But his lifeless body wasnât going to survive much longer. He probably had one last breath in him. He called out to her, but she couldnât hear him. He was fading fast, and it wouldn;ât be long now. He just hoped that Emma would be okay. That she could look back fondly on the life they had shared together. Because it was going to be over once and for all now as he closed his eyes for the last time.Â

He thought that they were happy. That after their accidental wedding in Vegas would bring them happiness. But they had gotten into another fight. The fourth one this week and he left. Got in his car and just drove away. He had left his phone at the house and cried as he drove. But after an hour he came back and she had left roses by the stairs. A little peace offering that he took to mean that it would be okay. It was definitely the small things he loved about her.Â

Heâs waiting in the dark in the rain. Emmaâs late and heâs worried. Is she going to show up? He calls her once but it goes straight to voicemail. He tries not to panic but does start to walk around. He doesnât want to be alone in this place but doesnât want to stray too far either. Heâs also trying to figure out his feelings towards her and none of this is helping. He just wants his friend to come and take him out of the cold. He shouldâve never suggested that they go somewhere new after all.

Looking back, Robin knows that they were young and stupid. they thought they knew everything. They thought they had their whole lives ahead of them. He didnât know why they thought they were wise. Maybe it was because they were freshman in college. They hadnât actually lived life. But when they found daniel dead of an overdose, it seemed to all change. They werenât immortal after all. Their time was limited and he needed to start making the most of this. It was time he stopped pretending. He loved Emma and he needed to tell her how he felt. It was time to start taking responsibility for his actions and stop acting so guilty that he was causing them both so much pain. He needed to compromise or heâd end up all alone.

He keeps falling in love with her. Itâs all the things that she does. She always there to remind him of how great she is, how perfect they could be together. But it leaves him confused. He shouldnât be in love with his best friend. Every time he sees her with someone new, his heart breaks and he falls in out of love with her. but then she smiles at him or laughs at his joke and itâs enough to have him spiraling back down that path towards love. Heâs never felt this way about anyone else before and it scares and terrifies him. He doesnât know what he should do about his Emma problem.

There holding hands, which wasnât an usual thing for them to do, but now he just realized how much smaller her hands were than his. She frowned at him and he shook his head, unable to speak his thoughts. She pulled his hand from hers and crosed her arms over her chest. He still said nothing for a moment before commenting on her hand size. Â She said something about kindness mattering before she walked away. Maybe he deserved that after all, he had no right to criticise her for something simple as her hands, something she couldnât control. Maybe they shouldnât hold hands ever again.

âTell me all your thoughts on god.â It was a random conversation starter for sure, but it was probably an important one to have before they had kids together. It was mid afternoon one day after they returned home from Vegas. They were lying in the grass in front of their new home and they were looking up at the clouds and counting all the blue cars that passed by on the street. They were asking each other questions and his question just slipped out. She gave him a look and shrugged. He continued to look at her. They remained quiet as the sun went down and he didnât leave her. Their clothes were grass stained, but he didnât care. He would give her all the space and time she would need to answer him, even if that meant that they would be out there all night.
When I was a child, from the time I was about four and could understand things, my mom told me and my brother that we should have a secret word. That way, if we were ever in trouble or felt unsafe and we didnât want the people around us to know we needed her to come get us, we could let her know. So she let us pick the word and my brother and I chose the phrase âpeanut butter cups.â (Iâm happy to share the phrase now since both my brother and I are adults now).Â
I used the phrase twice in my life. Once, I was at a friends house when I eight years old. Her dad got really drunk and was throwing things against the wall. I was really scared and I didnât want to draw attention to myself on the phone when I called my mom to come get me because I didnât know if he would get more violent if I asked her to come get me. So I called her and was calm and after a couple minutes I asked âHey mommy, did you get me those peanut butter cups from the store?â And she said âIâll be right there.â And she came and got me within minutes.Â
Second, I was a teenager spending the night at a friends house. Her brother and dad were drinking and they started talking about things that made me uncomfortable - ie: what they liked to do to women. My friend didnât seem perturbed and said that was normal for them and that I shouldnât worry. But I was worried because they were really drunk and I was 15 and the only âwomanâ around that wasnât related to them. I went in my friends room, told her I needed to call my mom and say goodnight. Before I hung up with her I asked âNext time we go to the store, can we get some peanut butters cups? Iâve been craving them.â And she came and got me, just like that.Â
Two incidents, one as a young child, one years later as a teen. Donât discredit this stuff, it fucking works. My brother used it a few times too. Let your child pick the word and no never, ever, ever, ever get mad at them for using it no matter what it is.Â

They were young, and stupid and it had taken a lot of convincing to get her to go, but Robin smiled as he looked at his new bride. His destined soulmate. She was supposed to be married to the king in the morning, but she didnât love him. She loved Robin and the outlaw loved her back. It had been her idea to leave and he agreed on the condition that they got married first. So Friar Tuck had agreed and they were secretly married in a small ceremony. They would be outlaws for the rest of their lives, but he didnât seem to mind it. He loved her and wanted her to be happy. He knew what challenges theyâd have to face, but at least now him and Regina could face them together. After all, they were made for each other.
2. Everybody Talks by Neon Trees
Robin loved her. at least he felt drawn to her. Everywhere he went, people would talk about them. Whispering as theyâd share a look. And the outlaw knew that thatâs what was making her pull away from him. he just wished they would leave him and the queen alone to sort their own feelings out. but instead, everyone always had to talk about them and their growing chemistry. he should have never kissed her in public, but he couldnât help it. she was gorgeous and now that was all that anyone talked about. theyâd never be together at this rate.
3. Broken by Secondhand SerenadeÂ
It was rare that they two of them could have a moment alone. Not after everything with the missing year and with Marian/Zelena. and yet here they were in a quiet romantic evening alone. he couldnât help but stare at her, but Regina just looked so scared so broken. he had hurt her and she should have never forgiven him, but she did and now they were in a place where he didnât know if their relationship would end at any moment or not. he didnât want to ask her where they stood, but also knew he had to know. if he was hurting her too much, then he had to do the right thing and end it. âIs it broken? Can we work it out?â he asked softly and she closed her eyes and sighed, looking away from him. Â

Robin was convinced that the queen only needed one thing in her life. For her to let him hold her. She always looked like she was on the break of tears and he simply wanted to pull her in close and brush away her tears. He knew she missed her son and he could never understand what that loss could be like. He just wanted to give her the world, to show her that there could be more to life than her tears. Sure his arms may not have the all of the solutions to her problems, but they would have the rest of their lives to figure all of them out. She could have a better world because of him, that much he was sure of.
5. Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer
âKiss Meâ he whispered softly as they sat on their front porch. she was in the dress he loved and he in his favorite shoes. Their children were off playing in the lawn and it was a perfect peaceful summer evening. The stars were out and so were the fireflies. This was the kind of life he had always wanted for himself and he was glad he got to share it with Regina. She rolled her eyes and leaned towards him anyways. Their lips met in a soft, sweet kiss that was as perfect as the rest of the moment.
6. All I Wanted by Paramore
They were apart yet again. Separated by miles and miles of land. And night after night he thought about her. How her life was doing in Storybrooke. He paced his apartment and slept on the couch most nights, and it drove Marian crazy. But it was all he could do to keep himself sane. His heart belonged to another woman and it always would. He longed for her so much and even thought about leaving his son and wife behind. But he couldnât do that to them either. He wished he could start over with Regina, to relieve all of his favorite parts but he couldnât. But when they were reunited there was only one thing he could say to his love: âAll I wanted was you.âÂ

Regina sat and watched as his daughter wrote him a letter. She hated the man who died, because all she saw was that he left them. Regina had tried to correct her, to tell her that he had died saving them. She wouldnât believe that. He was once her hero, that was until she had read about others who had cheated death. Why couldnât her father be like that? But he wasnât so clearly he didnât want to be with them. All she saw was heartbreak around her. And Regina understood that. Maybe a little too well. There were still nights she cried herself to sleep. She hated him for stepping in front of her For sacrificing himself for her. And maybe if little Robyn got her feelings out on paper, then sheâd start to heal. They all could heal. âI miss you papa.â Was how Robyn decided to end her letter and it brought Regina to tears again. None of this was fair or right and he should be with them now.
8. Thinking of You (I Drive Myself Crazy) by NSYNC
He tortured himself by thinking about her all of the time. But he couldnât help it. He missed her and wanted to be with her. Marian wasnât even close to the woman he had left behind and he knew he made a mistake in letting her go. And now he only had pain and memories left to live on. It wasnât the same and one of these days he actually would end up driving himself crazy because of how much he wanted her and knowing he could never have her back. He needed to move on, but couldnât. It was why most nights, he ended up lying awake thinking about Regina and it only made him want her that much more.
9. Supermassive Black Hole by Muse
It was all a lie. False pretenses. This land wasnât anything like she said it would be. He was trapped, held against his will and yet he still loved her. Or at least a part of her did. He only wanted his revenge and didnât actually think heâd fall for her. Maybe this other him was blind or maybe he couldnât see past her lies. That this world would be better for him. A new chance. It was the same thing with even more rules. She sucked him in and now he was sure that he could never get out. Whatâs worse is that he didnât think heâd want to leave her. She was this black hole in his heart and he didnât know how to respond to her.Â
10. Iâm Like a Bird by Nelly FurtadoÂ
Sheâs beautiful and lovely and everything heâs ever wanted. However, he was sure she was going to leave at any moment. She had been hurt in the past. And yet he still had faith in her. Still wanted to be with her. Sometimes he doubted if she believed that he wanted her. She never even wanted to have him tell her that he loved her. She even told him that she knew that one day she was going to have to give him up. That everyone she ever loved left her. He was more determined to prove that she was wrong. That he would be the one to stay.
So this game (or whatever you want to call it) has been around for ages but itâs something iâve always wanted to try. I know that itâll challenge me as a writer but looks fun.Â

But hereâs the catch: you only have the length of the song to write the drabble and the drabble must be inspired by that song. For example if one of the songs is Katy Perryâs I kissed a girl, you have 3 minutes and 5 seconds to write a drabble about your character kissing a girl.Â
Bonus points if you can incorporate a lyric from the song into the drabble.
It can be either about your character, verse, or a specific ship, but try and keep it to only one of those things. If youâre up for the challenge, then Iâm tagging you. Then tag your friends to see if they can do it too (itâs harder than it sounds but so good for character development).Â
