The panic over COVID-19 causing people to hoard shit unnecessarily means I can't find medical supplies (like disinfecting alcohol wipes) without paying an obnoxiously exorbitant amount.

Generally healthy, able-bodied people don't need masks, exam gloves, or alcohol swabs to protect themselves against COVID-19. But chronically ill people and their caretakers do need those supplies to live their everyday lives.

How it smells: There are definitely hints of that signature black cherry aroma. Overall, it’s pleasant, and the undertones of the black cherry make the classic whiskey smell(think hospital that has a fireplace), seem less daunting.

First sip: Very smooth. It’s actually quite tasty, and could easily be had without a mixer. It has a little bit of a bite to it, and the rich cherry taste lingers.

What would it be good with: I personally would drink this on the rocks or mixed with a little Sprite. It’s definitely worth having a glass of with or after a steak dinner.

Overall rating: 8/10

Dr. McGillicuddy’s Cherry Liqueur

Proof: 15% alc/vol

Smell: You know when your grandma is sucking on a cherry cough drop and she insists on a kiss on the cheek? That is exactly what this liqueur smells like. To a T.

First sip: Did I just drink cough syrup or alcohol? Very sweet overall. It almost numbs your tongue. It definitely should be used as a mixer. Slightly dangerous, because you can’t taste any alcohol.

What to drink it with: Personally, I would add this to any bevy that uses grenadine. It would make an excellent substitute. Add to ice cream for a dessert, or drink straight if you’re into sweet things. Definitely best chilled.
