I never post videos but this place was too stunning not to share. El mirador de Catarina is a lookout over a lagoon left behind by a volcano millions of years ago. Tonight's sunset in San Juan Del Sur. Learning to surf is hard but overcoming my own fears and anxiety about the big waves and the ocean has been the biggest challenge. I can now see what Chicabrava's motto is "Empowering women one wave at a time". Last night me and the "Guapotona" (handsome tuna) took off on a tour of Las Isletas, a series of tiny privately owned islands in the middle of Lake Cocibolca in Granada, Nicaragua. A pretty amazing place with view of the looming volcano Mombacho and the amazing bird life. #tbt I will never forget this moment as long as I live. After six days of hiking the Annapurna Curcuit we reached Manang. We climbed up to meet the 95-year-old cave monk. He blessed me with Buddhist prayer and gave me this necklace which I still have today. One of my favorite things about #kilimanjaro was the amazing diversity of plant life. The Senecio and Lobelias are cactus like plants found over 13,000 feet elevation, high up on the mountain.
