“Happy Father’s day, dad.” Bonnie raised her shot and looked up at the ceiling before knocking it back. She had already visited his grave, but it didn’t make her feel much better. Or less lonely.

Caroline raised her shot as well, sighing. “He loved you, Bon. I know you know that... I just wanted to you to hear it from somebody today.” The blonde reached over, and placed her hand on her best friend’s. Caroline stopped celebrating Father’s Day, well, after her father died. It just wasn’t the same anymore, especially after all that happened before he passed. “Your dad was a good guy.”
