I am radqueer critical because I believe that the radqueer community perpetuates harm. Not every radqueer does, but there are still many who are or defend predators and abusers.

I don’t know if this is a good question to ask, but would I be considered radqueer if I use transIDs? I personally don’t really like the community that much, and I think a lot of them are delusional, but I feel connected with certain terms. I think people forget that engaging in discourse does not equal somebody having no life or nothing better to do.

Discourse, controversy and debates are a big hobby of mine, this is quite literally something I enjoy discussing and talking about. If it wasn’t, I wouldn’t be engaging in it

But I also see that this viewpoint of people has thinly veiled ableism.

When they bring up a description of an individual with “ no life “ , you get someone typically who is isolated, mostly in their home all day, unable to work or without a job. Many disabled people fit under this category for a number of reasons. I may not fit into that category as much as I used to, but using that as a form of gotcha or insult definitely isn’t really respectful to those with mental illness or debilitating conditions.

I enjoy engaging in discourse, but I don’t do it all the time, obviously. Nobody genuinely does. People just assume I have no life because all they’re seeing is the discourse I talk about. They don’t see my other blogs where I talk about my interests and see the different trips and places I travel to and positively share, they’re not close enough with me to hear me talk about my success in education. And yknow, they never will!

If you assume someone is a no lifer just by judging how they’ve decided to present online or by one or two posts, I’m going to assume you are more of the no lifer.
