Welcome to this-is-antiarab! (plaintext: this-is-antiarab!)
This blog is to document the xenophobia against the Arab world.
We are an inclusive space for everyone! Queer people, plural people, alterhumans/non-human beings and more are welcome on this blog, so don’t be afraid!
This blog is managed by only one mod (main account kept private) so asks may take longer to answer. I use he/they/it pronouns, and you can call me Naga.
Remember that anyone claiming to be us is lying unless stated otherwise on this specific blog.
What is Arabophobia?
(plaintext: What is Arabophobia?)
It is the fear of or prejudice and discrimination against Arab people. This can include things like depictions and stereotypes of Arabs as terrorists, Arab orientalism and romanticisation of our culture and much more.
It is extremely prevalent in our day-to-day lives. Not to be confused with islamophobia, which is the fear of or discrimination against Muslims—a religion, not an ethnicity.
Not all Arabs are Muslims, and not all Muslims are Arabs! This is a very important distinction to make as the top 10 most populous Muslim countries aren’t Arab (except for Egypt).

Our queue runs on 2 asks each day if we have any in our inbox.
This is not a safe space for transrace (people transitioning into another race) people.
Any asks on our stances will be immediately deleted (unless seen as good-faith). This is not a place for discourse.
