This blog will contain general cdd ableism, mentions of fakeclaiming, mentions of trauma, mistreatment, and other topics, that most of the time will not be tagged. if you would like anything to be tagged with a warning dont be shy to tell me!!

here you can submit all the times youve seen or experienced ableism about having a cdd/being a system, whether that be from other systems/people with cdds, non-systems/people without cdds, and [pro]endos [for people who claim anti endos are ableist they sure are ableist]

Not exactly ableism (I think?), but I kinda want to rant about this and I don't know where else to do it.

We have a singlet friend. They're kinda uninformed and make a lot of questions, which is ok to us, we love answering questions. But almost every time I mention something about my experience with DID, this friend says that they "relate" to it, which??? I'm sorry, what? I was talking about alters going dormant, how do you relate to this???? Do they know what I'm talking about????

i can see people relating to dissociative and identity experiences but alters going dormant?? maybe theyre just trying to be comforting or something, i hope they arent actually confused about this stuff and thinking they know the experience like you do

hewwao, insane story scale anon again with something less intense (i think)

it's from my first therapist, i had her for a good decade and i absolutely hated her for so many reasons, but THIS pertains to during the time of the possibly-unpostable story (genuinely up to you, i'm alright with any decision- i wanted to clarify that in some way because i forgot to on the ask), so a lot going on there

she told me i can't possibly have DID because nothing i went through she considered bad enough (she also straight up laughed at me and then said i didn't have any real trauma, which is.,. a really weird coexistence of statements), i had loving parents (stares at her), i remember everything about my life, DID is so rare to the point that almost nobody has it which means i for sure don't, and that the largest system ever recorded had precisely 8 parts, so if i ever get anywhere close to that, i should go to guinness for a world record (i'm at like 15 and counting, where's my trophy and where are the trophies for a probably significant portion of your following)

so she was full of shit

Visual disgust on my face how do these people have a job like that when they laugh at people trying to get their help?! Glad you don’t have her anymore but a decade is a crazy amount for someone like her that must’ve been horrible, hope you have someone better now if you still pursued therapy after

Tw: child abuse / purposeful triggering

CDD ableism is sophie (on her alt, posts still up as of this ask. I took a screenshot if she dirty deletes, if so can send them privately to anyone) posting a graphic description of physically beating a 4 year old child with no mercy and then saying in the same post she did so to purposely trigger individuals who don't follow her beliefs (self proclaimed "enemies"). She did this because someone said... they were upset that she called a little, that presented as 4, a manipulative bitch. Like, I don't believe littles are inherently children and I think system accountability applies to littles aswell (not that I think sophie had any well intentions in that, but still). I don't see where that becomes graphic descriptions of how sophie believes some four year olds, she never even says littles just four year olds, should be beaten bloody and have bones broken. It doesn't just trigger her self proclaimed enemies, it also triggers any abuse victims who come across her page. I got this post *recommended to me by tumblr*. I don't follow the account, I haven't participated in syscourse in about a year. That still showed up. I spent my morning having flashbacks because I dared open tumblr.

When I first found out I was a system I followed her, I was even pro endo! But holy shit I am so glad I was informed before this whole... whatever. But hey, if she didn't purposely trigger people with trauma disorders I might still be pro-endo. So.. guess there's that. - 🔍

(ask for warning tags I don’t know what all might be needed but I want to make sure people are safe) I’ve seen a bit that’s been going on with her but hadn’t seen the “description” post before till I checked one of her alts. I feel like she made that with the idea to mock a bodily adult system by referring to them as a child like they’d want and thus abusing them like one but that’s with the idea that Sophie would very willingly do this to a real child. The “oh you’re x? Well then I guess I’ll have to treat you like one” only works when the person is already very willingly malicious towards x, you don’t just say that shit passively. That’s very concerning but I’m not surprised coming from Sophie, a “tulpa” trying to talk about dissociation and dissociative barriers while also crediting Collin Ross. Her wonderland blog had that long post and I felt like it was all incredibly standard idea and skimmed it but had no idea she made it because she’d abuse children?!?!

love how this also adds up to her description and “joke” of pluraling children and all her ai videos of advertisements for being plural, she doesn’t understand child development and she doesn’t care for children and would willfully abuse them and condone that abuse, it’s crazy she thinks she should have any say in the cdd community when she doesn’t think child abuse is bad and has consequences, she’s probably never had to face any fucking strife in her life pertaining to this if she’s that insensitive. She probably finds a lot of joy in that post if she made it with zero hesitation, how do you write visceral child abuse and post it on the internet?!?!?! She should honestly be banned for making public child abuse material but what do I know

maybe as a singlet I shouldnt be speaking on this but dear anon, cdds cannot be formed without trauma. its like saying that you have ptsd and no trauma behind it. if your therapist actively encourages the idea of mixed origins, endogenic origins, or willogenic origins then that's concerning because they clearly don't know anything about cdds or dissociation in general

i agree. its hard to imagine that these claims are actually a therapist saying mixed origins exist, instead they might just be either entirely made up or misconstrued information, like if a therapist acknowledges an alter didnt come from a traumatic experience but maybe just a point of stress, especially for systems who split easily. endos very often tend to take anything that mentions identity and dissociation as proof for endogenics existing so someone having their therapist say you dont need to have a traumatic experience for a new split to happen is definitely something theyre going to take as proof, while not acknowledging the nuance and what the therapist actually means. and if a therapist actually believe in endogenic stuff, like you said, thats really concerning.

We used to have an ex friend of ours who we won’t name since they’re (unfortunately) still active on system tumblr so if by the slightest chance they see this, hey!! Fuck you <3

So, they were in a group of ours and are also an anti endo DID system , we got along pretty well with eachother when we were still friends. We unfortunately had a pretty dangerous alter at the time of our friendship, and there wasn’t any way to control his behavior or his front, so we warned our friends about his past behavior and that if he ended up fronting to cause them any trouble in servers then they had full permission to block or mute us in those places until they were gone.

I won’t get into what happened, but months later a fight between said friends broke out , keep in mind, this person claimed to be anti-fakeclaiming.

They would shit talk behind my back about the alter I explicitly warned them about, complaining that they were being an asshole and believed they “ weren’t real “ because of this? Whenever he caused issues that hurt people I would actively take full accountability for his behavior. this accusation went on to my entire system and they claimed I was faking just to get away with saying things I’m not supposed to.

… it got worse from there, after all the drama had passed, I got my DID diagnosis. They were still in a server I was in and obviously saw I was excited that I finally got a diagnosis after so many years of denial.

They went on to say I was pretending to be diagnosed because “ it’s illegal to be diagnosed under 18!! “ and when someone pointed out that I am not in the US like they are and laws are very much different here, they still said “ well, it’s still weird “ and just…straight up denied the fact we were a system? All because of an alter that I WARNED THEM ABOUT was exactly how I said they would act. Sorry that the persecutor was a fucking persecutor and not every system experience is the exact same as yours, I guess..

This , in my opinion, was very much CDD ableism. I will die on that fucking hill

I don't remember exactly what happened. There was some rant in an ask box from one of my alters saying that I had cptsd and didn't know if i had a cdd or not and didn't like some sort of diagnostic expectations around what systems should look like, uhhh this was an angry part triggered by one sarcastic but otherwise kind of normal post that reminded them of everything ableist in the world. then some time after typing the main thing, there was a change in demeanor and mood and another me was holding the phone screen and typed in something petty and spiteful that they thought was a funny comparison in the moment but it ended up being offensive. the next four hours of my life is gone now so i don't know what happened but people were responding with death threats and i kept asking them to stop. we were unable to understand how offensive it was and people responded to that lack of awareness with more aggression which made things worse. i really don't know what all happened. i now am more convinced that i might be a cdd system after all, but at what cost? please, to anyone posting in system spaces, be very careful around asks that may seem strange or erratic or troll-like. i can't explain how much this hurt me but it really did. if something seems strange or mean or detached from social norms while showing signs of distress, there is a good chance of it being an alter who is having problems, or even if it's not a cdd system there's still a person there. it can be dissociation or psychosis or any number of things. the situation that I'm referring to doesn't need to be named because it's hopefully resolved by now, but it is indicative of broader problems. I'll admit that i did say some ableist and transphobic things while in those altered states. i dont remember saying them but i have the screenshots on my phone. the rest of you were also being ableist, even if it was unintentionally. we need to be very aware of the fact that protectors and persecutors can behave in ways that you might not expect. alters can even say things that come across as bigoted. it happens sometimes and it doesnt change the fact that they are disordered and behaving in a symptomatic way. please do not ever harass or gang up on someone or send them death threats, especially not in spaces filled with dissociative trauma survivors.

thats actually disgusting people would do that to you, no matter what you said. no one deserves harassment or death threats, ever. it also is surprising that some people in a community based around disorders developed from trauma treat people who experience traumatic symptoms as evil while also preaching that theyre the good ones who dont see disordered and traumatized people as evil 😭 while bigoted things can hurt other people as well, if you at least recognized it happened and apologized and to the best of your ability, especially when it comes to other alters, try to prevent the behavior from happening again, you shouldnt be labeled as some awful person. ive seen way too much how one small slip up, when in an emotional state that fogs up rational thinking or not even in that state, causes someone to be an outcast of a group and lose all respect. theres a lot more nuance to people than just good and bad that people just refuse to acknowledge [besides when people are in a state of black and white split thinking]

Yes, the word he used continuously was “made/make”. We have zero clue what made this guy think any of what he was doing was ok but he stuck to what he said and kept pushing it further and further. We lost several singlet friends who started to believe the bs he was claiming. Not only did he claim to have made alters for the sys friend we had, but he claimed he could make them for anyone. It was some real endogenic bs and really effected the circle of friends we had made at that school in a ve try negative way.
