I love how in Daredevil, Frank Castle is like this intimidating guy who's a well matched threat to the hero but in Spiderman he's still the same character but Peter just... does not treat him with the same amount of gravity. He webs Frank's mouth shut for swearing and tells him to go home after breaking his van. He argues with the man who's whole deal is he has a lot of weapons and WILL use them like two New Yorkers who got into a fender bender. Peter Parker and Frank Castle see each other coming and they both go "This fucking guy again." I love it.

What's fun with 124-ji are you can kinda interpret their 'true' personalities different ways (currently *shrug*), one of which is I'm having Ichiji's slight quietness be more in this scenario him being lost to his own thoughts of imagination like Anne, but more in a bit of a ditsy way. From the very beginning, he molds you to love him, to be devoted to him, to know only The Family. It's isolation at its best- he does this isolation, in a sense, with other family members, too; itās to make them more loyal to him. Think of it like corporate work- saying theyāre a big, happy family, and also the whole ādonāt talk about your salaryā, āoh, you can work overtime! Think about the wellbeing of us!ā, so on and so forth. Also, being stuck with the crew like. 24/7 whether in the kingdom or at sea definitely doesnāt help. So, in your case, itās upped to like. x10000000000000000.

Although youāre held very dear to him, youāre not given the CorazĆ³n seat, or any seat, just yet- you donāt know his past, you donāt know him that well. However, Doflamingo makes it very clear that youāre not to be harmed- the uh. The fucking. Blood rule heās got going on. Anybody who violates it will not only get killed, but slowly, and while the offenderās friends watch.
I wanna mention that, most likely w/ the kids that join the Donquixote Family, your name isnāt your actual name. Itās kinda like a thing of āyou have a new life, not one out there. Youāre with us now, so shed your old identity and come with us, new skin donned on you.ā Also, with the Executive Officers, their names are likely their code names- considering CorazĆ³n is a seat, and Rosinante and Vergo had it, they had their own names, but likely called CorazĆ³n while in The Family. Most likely goes with the others. Unless their names are actually Trebol, Diamante, and Pica. Then thatās stupid as fuck. Their names are stupid as fuck.
So, the same is applied to you. You also get a code name!!! Congratulations. If somebody manages to find out your name and use it, theyāre getting their legs broken by Doflamingo. Or even the other officers. Next offense, it only gets worse.
Oftentimes, youāre called āLittle Masterā as a silly thing to reference Doflamingo being called āYoung Master.ā
Surprisingly, itās not for the whole āshedding your skinā thing. It plays into Doflamingoās possessiveness. Youāre his kid, you belong to him, so only he gets to know your name.
Speaking of his possessiveness, he is possessive to the max. Almost every waking moment is spent with him, and the only time youāre separated from this man is when he canāt take you along. Honestly, heād probably bring you to the Warlord meetings.Ā

In fact, your room is placed next to his so he can keep a better eye on you. He looks over your food, your days, what you want to buy- honestly, he seems like the kinda man to look through your diary if you ever had one (and then burn it, because secrets arenāt tolerated here). Heās sweet in his words as he explodes, his tone, too, but the way he says what he says is what affects you the most.
After exploding on you, Doflamingo keeps a closer eye on you. If you thought his presence was suffocating now, youāre going to feel like youāre choking.
The little bit of free time you had is gone, and now, every single moment awake is spent with your dad. If he canāt be with you, then he makes an Executive Officer keeps an eye on you as heās gone.
Itās horrible, so if youāre going to make an escape plan, you better keep it in your mind, show no signs of wanting to escape, and hope itās successful. And I donāt mean only escaping Dressrossa, I mean you have to be out of his grasp for the rest of your life, because as soon as you escape, he is hunting you the fuck down.
Also, escaping Dressrossa in of itself is a huge ordeal. All of his members are ordered to bring you back to him if they find you without him, and his officers are very diligent at their jobs. They wouldnāt be called officers otherwise. So honestly, not only do you need a bunch of skill (that youād manage to somehow get without Doflamingo + his crew), youād need the grace of whatever gods exist to get out of his direct grasp.
He creates a codependent relationship.
Like I said, his whole family is dead. He doesnāt have anybody he can lean on. Sure, his executive officers know him, they know what he went through, but he canāt lean on them, and Vergoās away, so heās got nobody to support him, and hell no heās not talking to anybody else. So, when somebody of his own flesh and blood is created, heās relying on them for emotional stability. So, while creating a child that can take technically care of themself, and is aware of how brutal the world is, heās isolated them to the point they canāt live without him.
You need him as much as he needs you.
Itās fucked up. Very much so.
Essentially, you live in a very cramped cage with a blanket thrown over it so you canāt see the world outside. However, itās very fancy, and also very comfortable.
