"hey, George,, do you think we'll ever get out of this place?"

*even if you couldn't see it with his black mask on, you could tell there was a glimmer of hope in his eyes*

Hope is pretty dim. ~[ He took a swig of the coffee, silently recoiling at the disgusting flavor. It was pure bitterness, and not in a good way. ]~

I need to be awake. I don't want to keep hearing IT. Otherwise, I'm fine. ~[ Reporter spotted Luke's prosthetic falling off and gestured to it. ]~ Your arm's loose.

*the prosthetic falls off before he could even realize, it fell with a shatter*

"I'll fix that soon.."

*he muttered obviously embarrassed*

*he turns his head to the shattered arm and back at you*

"what do you mean by.. 'it'?"

Yeah, you really should. ~[ Reporter's eyes suddenly darkened, before he put back on a smile, though it was a false one. ]~ Whoops! I just remembered I forgot something, haha! I'll be right back. ~[ He swiped the Necrobloxicon off the table, stuffed it in his back pocket, and left in a rush. ]~

*he stood up and chased after you, putting a hand to your shoulder (the right hand)*

"you're changing the subject and running away, I know when something is wrong. Come on George. Please. I'm your friend, we used to be in a friend group before.. well this purgatory.. you can tell me anything. Come on.. be honest with me, I care for you."

*you could swear you saw his mask slightly fell revealing some wooden parts of his head.. wait are you even supposed to know that or is Luke getting comfortable with his face because the others aren't here-?*

...Nothing. Nothing is wrong with me, Luke. Take care of yourself, especially with your infection. ~[ Reporter walked away, the book pulsing in his back pocket. You swore you could hear voices coming from it. ]~

*he looks at your pocket*

"George where did you get that,,?!"

*he grabbed reporter's shoulders and started shaking him*

"do. You. Know. how. Dangerous. That. Is? The only reason why I am alive after holding that was because I was basically it's sibling."

...The Alpha Brick, 2x2, gave the book to me. And I've been studying it. I know of its dangers, Luke. But what other choice do I have?
