fake hearts, fake love, fake loyalty, fake welcoming and cutesy appearance. and with the cult of personality he's built up you could even throw in idol worship. if you look at it another way it's like Inspekta's supposed to represent the concept of a false god

Yeah- super early on in development, he WAS going to be a false god- a fake one!

"Inspekta" was originally going to be an elaborate costume Hector puppeted from the inside. This was before many rules or story beats for the game we were creating were nailed down.

#ggg spoilers #my ask omg #interesting what path Hector could've gone down early on #and it's doubly interesting in that it kind of carried on in a way through current Hector's perception of himself #It may not be true now but he certainly thinks he's a fraud in a trenchcoat #If this stayed as Hector's backstory think about how it would have gone in relation to King's current story #two mortals that were deified in opposite directions #Hector had to invent a godly persona in order to bolster his legacy #while King was so good at her job the people themselves acted like she already was one

Small characterization thing I noticed about Pokey

This thing CAN NOT take a photo to save their life. Every picture where they're the focus they're stanced up awkwardly

The only pictures where they have any aura are the ones where they're either not the focus, have their back turned, or both

Sometimes I wonder how public perception of the Bizzyboys ends up in the future, especially after more former Bizzys make their stories known and accounts from the leadup to the Rift become more common knowledge

if it was remembered as a once good organization gone bad, something akin to the mob, or a literal cult of personality that happened to have good press
