Road Trip by Noel Kerns
Noel Kerns is a Dallas-based photographer specializing in capturing Texasâ ghost towns, decommissioned military bases, and industrial abandonments at night. Growing up in the central Texas hill country, Kerns developed his photographic skills shooting large format black & white landscapes. Â The slow and deliberate nature of the large format photographic process was a perfect launching pad into the art of digitally photographing the nocturnal world.
One of the things Kerns enjoy most about photographing under a full moon are all the latent details, those things which reveal themselves only when you take the time to let the moonlight tell the story. He loves the calm and tranquility of a peaceful night scene, as well as the eerie feeling one can get when shooting an old desert ghost town under a full moon.

The Art of Hong Yi
Hong Yi, also known by her nickname, âRedâ, is an artist known for creating pieces using everyday, unconventional materials.
After graduating with Master in Architecture from the University of Melbourne, Red moved to Shanghai for a career in architecture. She fell in love with the cityâs chaotic charm, once home to her father and grandparents. Inspired by her surroundings and the range of affordable materials available from wholesale markets, it was here Red completed her first unconventional work, a portrait of Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei made entirely out of sunflower seeds. A wave of innovative artworks ensued, including a portrait of Adele using 1500 melted tea lights, and a hanging structure of Jackie Chan using chopsticks. The use of materials in bulk in her project alludes to the globalization and mass production in China and Asia.

Living in Glass Houses
People that live in glass houses shouldnât throw stones, the old adage goes, in these cases it should say: people that live in glass houses have amazing views that make nature part of their living room decoration.Â
Itâs clear glass houses have a special place in architecture design as most people are equally intrigued and horrified with the idea of living in one. Here is a collection of houses that take advantage of glass as a building material to create structures that explore a different way of living.Â
