back to weight watchers?
Ok, so I’m gonna try weight watchers...again...I loved it years ago when it was PointsPlus. But I hear Smart Points is different and harder. Tell me what to eat!

unmotivated.
I am so unmotivated to do ANYTHING. Goals? ha. Move forward? Good one. What do you do when you feel this way?

Unsolicited Advice
I just had to give this advice to a friend. A fellow woman in the workforce. So often, I see women, myself included, who believe that they will be paid fairly, they will be given what they deserve, they will be treated equally. That exact faith landed me in a place where I found out I was making 40% less than my EXACT MALE COUNTERPART. I have a friend who hasn’t learned that we as women have a responsibility to ourselves and our daughters and our nieces and our granddaughters to stand up for ourselves and push hard for what we deserve. If we don’t, nobody else will.
This is what I told her, and I think all us ladies need to hear it.
Nobody is going to give you a medal for leaving on the table that to which you are entitled. Nobody.
And Then I Did It
I went to the gym! It is so weird to me that I used to go to the gym every single day. Why is it such a struggle now?
If I Tell You, I’ll Do It?
I need to get to the gym today. I want to go home and NOT go to the gym. But if I tell you I’m gonna do it, I’ll do it, right??
Yesterday I did a charity bike ride in Southern Maryland. Super fun! I rode the 16 mile route (there was the option to do 32, 48, or 63). I’m a terrible road cyclist. It terrifies me. But I held it together and finished. Slowly. There were a million hills. Pretty glad I did it though. The only way road biking will get less scary is to just do it. Over and over and over again.
Dinner last night consumed outside on the patio. nom nom nom nom I love food and spring.

I didn’t use 3 tablespoons of oil. I have found that just using spray olive oil or coconut oil is enough. So, So, SO good.
Spring! Finally!
At my desk working, with coffee and water acquired, by 8:41. Unprecedented. Also I was traveling for work for 10 days and thought I had gained 5 pounds. looks to be shaking out to more like a one pound gain. That’s much more reasonable. Hope you are having a fabulous day too!
yep.
Not Quite Dead Yet
Not Dead. Just busy. How are YOU?
Yesterday's gorgeous run. I hope that was winter's last gasp but I won't believe it until I see leaves on the trees.
Cold, quiet, snowy run this morning.
DAMN YOU JEANS
So last month Old Navy had jeans on sale. I was all "Oh snap! I'm gonna need new jeans soon because this pair I'm wearing is looking a little run down. I bet by the time they become unwearable, I will be a smaller size. So let's buy a smaller size, self! Hooray!" Well...today was the day. I blew out a hole in the butt of these jeans.
Keep in mind, I love Old Navy Jeans. They have a wide variety of cuts, they are cheap, and they look good on me. BUTTTTTT....I wear jeans like everyday and they only have a shelf life of about 4 months.
Fast forward...my jeans are blown out. They are too big, but not soooo too big that I need a smaller size. That means I have to decide if I should buy another pair of jeans at my current size (not very motivating), squish my body into the smaller size (not very flattering), or wear garbage bags taped to my legs to look like pants.
Ugh. I realize this is a first world problem, but the struggle is real. I currently own zero pairs of wearable jeans.
