I’m @/thisgoldendragonfly but you can call me jay :D

I recently got onto tumblr because I wanted to find some pictures/tools for me to write my stories again. Writing stories is one of my hobbies and passions even though I’m far from professional :>

Some facts about me <3

1. My hobbies besides writing include listening to music (my fav artist is ATC- against the current), listening to musicals (current musical- Mean Girls and Hamilton), collecting letter writing sets & writing letters, writing poetrys, wax seals. (wax seals.)

2. My favourite colour is emerald green as well as silver. (#hufflepuff...though)

3. I am from the little red dot.

4. Yep that’s all I guess.

I don’t have much friends on tumblr except for the amazingly talented @elanaevelyn and @webfaerie <3333. But I’m hoping I can make more friends on here soon <3

I will never be satisfied

We seldom meet,

usually once a year.

But every time I came to visit

during the lunar new year

it was your eyes I sought

amongst the crowded room.

5 years ago we sang songs from Frozen,

on some uncle’s bed

while our aunty looked on in surprise 

as you sang about love and instead

of what boys usually did.

This year I met you again

You seemed a little worse for the wear.

Your shirt was unbuttoned

Your hair was messier than I remembered

You looked tired

But when I came

You smiled anyway.

I pointed at your phone

Is that Alexander Hamilton?

Yes, it is, you replied, how do you know?

I was so excited to find another person

who shared the same interest as me.

What is your favourite song? I asked.

Satisfied.

I smiled as you showed me the cover Sia did.

We sang together again.

Just like 5 years ago.

When I left, you still messaged me on Instagram.

But I knew that after a week, you will be gone.

It will all end.

And this feeling I have

In my heart

This headache that just doesn’t seem to go away.

Will come again.

Next year.
