At First Glance

A picture is worth a thousand words, so a thousand words to paint a picture? (Or there abouts)

Blonde, 5'6".

In hindsight, she thinks of herself as overweight at the beginning of 'the heartbreak chapter', but for the first two weeks her appetite was gone, she held very little down, and the thought of food made her sick. She felt lost, and an indescribable pain in the pit of her stomach that she couldn't shake.

She dropped almost 30kgs in a month.

From my perspective, hitting the gym 2-3 times a day and her watching what she ate seemed like a health kick.

In reality it was her own personal punishment for something she believed was her fault.

"Another failed relationship."

From the outside, I saw strength, ambition, life.

On the inside, she felt alone, hurt, defeated.

Everyone goes through their own battles and she is proud to shout that she made herself who she is today. She showed the world the person she wanted to be before she had the strength to be that person. 

That is what I aspire to.

That is what I am inspired by.

She is who inspires me.

The Beginning

Picture this; a sad, broken hearted, shell of a girl, sitting on her parents couch, staring out at the road waiting for him to drive past on his way to work.

This isn’t the start of her story, this is just the beginning of her ‘heartbreak chapter’, and at the end of this I hope you understand my fascination and admiration for this once beautifully broken babe.

Everything that happened in the 6 weeks post break up, shaped who she is as a person more than the entire relationship.

Give a girl time and she will blossom into a woman.

The day started with a plan, a secret, an adventure. A day filled with wonder and joy.

It ended when the argument began, and from there, the world fell away and all she was left with was herself.
