I'm slowly using every color and tool in my watercolor set...stay tuned to see more experiments.
~In order from newest to oldest~
Watercolor is much different than acrylic! I'm gonna keep messing around until I figure out what I'm doing 😅 It'd help if I looked up literally anything about how to work with watercolors, but that's not my style. I prefer to experiment and find my own way.
I painted the shirt I'm wearing 🥰
Yeah...you guessed it...another watercolor that's not really a watercolor
For Christmas my partner gifted me with a watercolor painting set 🥰 It's PERFECT for so many reasons...
1. I have NO experience with watercolors
2. I love having new mediums to introduce to my art
3. I have a HUGELY overwhelming commission I'll be working on for the foreseeable future and needed the chance/excuse to have experiment pieces again
4. I'm limited when it comes to time now that I'm a new mother & the small watercolor papers give me the satisfaction of completing a piece
This was the first art piece I did once moving to California. My art has definitely changed along with my surroundings.
