So I’m done here.
the blog will stay ~active~ but I wont be on here. You can follow my bullshit at my instagram @siliconandsunlight Please do. The only thing I will lament about leaving tumblr, is missing the posts by you radical canadian filmmakers. Y’all know who you are.
liberals be like: who wants to get evicted at gun point because your poor, but by a good cop!!!
Our Pink Cops will evict you at gunpoint, but they’ll be LGBT-friendly about it!
A cop, pinning me to the wall and dislocating my shoulder: WHAT ARE YOUR PRONOUNS WHAT ARE YOUR PROUNOUNS
i was bleeding from being beaten by a group of cops and one of them, while filling out paperwork, pointed at the skirt I was wearing and asked me “how I identify” this joke is literally already a reality for trans people

‘Solace.’ A Coming of Age Film that Tackles Eating Disorders and Self-Harm.
Created by filmmaker and writer Tchaiko Omawale, Solace is a coming of age film that stars Hope Olaidé Wilson as Sole, an orphaned teen who is sent to live with her estranged grandmother (played by Lynn Whitfield). Sole faces many obstacles, both mentally and physically, as she deals with loss, longing, confusion, and identity. Solace is also a rare depiction of a black girl struggling with an eating disorder and self-harm.
