Welcome to the blog! The goal of this is to show the world that one thing can, in fact, be another. A backpack can't be a desk, you say? Think again! They both hold your stuff, do they not? And are cats and desks not also the same, when you get down to the legs? Honestly, everything is everything, if you think about it. Chocolate and eggs? Sure, both are eaten. Volcanoes and books? Both feature halflings! You can find us on X or TikTok, with X being used to talk about the matchups and TikTok for videos explaining the thought process between each pairing. Tumblr is where the polls will be though! What polls? Every Wednesday, we will be putting out a poll asking if two things are more like each-other than two other things. Take, for example, an apple and an orange, versus an easel and a submarine. Both easels and submarines are manmade, and both apples and oranges are fruit. But which pairing is more alike?
If you have your own thoughts about this, feel free to submit propaganda! Rules: No gore, no adult content. Don't be a bigot and we will get along fine. Don't harass anyone. Posts will happen each Wednesday, maybe more often if things really take off, and last for 6 days, with a winner being announced each Tuesday. If enough people ask, then a rerun can occur for two pairings, but otherwise once two things get compared they won't be compared again.
