naaaaaaah, honestly she comes from a lot of deception from Max which I get like she Max was Chloe first ever love (as we understand in before the storm Chloe was always very much in love w max) so when max just vanished and never kept in touch she had to go through her father's absence and grief alone, then she had to cope with her mom's new stepfather who controlled her every moves and put fckn cameras in the house, and then she found Rachel and then she started to move on, and bam she disappear again and then she got drugged by a rich boy and was about to meet death and now max is back...like she has to copy with that and in the last game we see her determined to come back to max i think they both needed to grow apart and now they can start from scratch you know AAAAAAAAAAAH LOVE MY LESBIANS

honestly the fact that shan got in the hospital almost bleeding to death. She was scared the whole time about her father being out in the air, the "mother" being a bitch to johnny and refusing them being together, Darren being the biggest pick me and honestly them just thinking about themselves once again, joey being away from them, the fire, the fact johnny had to get up, get out there and saving everyone from the fire, the "he is not yelling, why isn't he yelling?" BROKE ME TO MY CORE!!! no no honestly the "get my kids out" "i'm coming back for you" "no don't" omg okay no keeping is for me the worst one. I REFUSE THE CASTING HONESTLY IT IS A NIGHTMARE

OMGGGGGGG OKAY OKAY It's a midas' myth retelling. It's the story of Auren, who got saved by Midas, and she was being kept "protected" (=locked in a cage) because she also turns everything she touches to gold (she is all gold herself). She is ofc so safe there and she is trying to get the king to love her but Midas makes a deal and got her kidnapped and emprisoned by Midas' worst enemy and she'll learn that midas might not be the savior she thinks he is and that more important decisions are at stake therefore she has the power to undertake everything and make herself heard

IT IS SO GOOD!! okay I have to warn you, I HATED the first book, honestly it was one of my worst read but idk i had a feeling that i needed to read the second book...and now it is my favorite romantasy ...SWEAR TO FCKN GOOD ITS TOO GOOD
