Basically, this was one of the most insane shows ever. One of the security guards slipped me this plectrum he'd found when I was waiting around afterwards. The messiest Monday night I've ever taken part in.

Friday night frolics / Yearbook EP release show

It's a fact that Birthdays do my favourite burgers in London - on Friday I opted for the soft shell crab burger. At £11 it's not cheap but it's worth every penny.

Yearbook played both the longest and fastest set I've ever seen from them and got my hands on a copy of Old Bones

All rounded off with a tamer than usual but still fairly messy Facedown.

Lost my Ally Pally virginity on Thursday when I accepted a last minute invitation from my gal Rosie to see Bastille. Didn't enjoy the walk up to the top of the hill in the slightest, but the building and the view from the top are both incredible.

Bastille and Angel Haze weren't bad either!
