Hello Friends!
This took forever to come up with, plan, and create. BUT IT’S HERE! If you would like to join me, I have an entire month dedicated to bookish selfies! I love seeing all of your faces and getting to know you! General bookish photography challenges usually have that pressure of generating the highest quality photos, so I wanted to make something a little more casual. The purpose of this is to liven up my dash with everyone’s beautiful faces and of course for all of you to have fun! Plus #Revive Booklr, am I right?
I introduce to you the AUGUST SELFIE CHALLENGE! The mechanics work the same way as any photo challenges, except this time, it’s all about showing us your face! You can tag your all posts with #August Selfie Challenge and #ASCShadowtearling so I can come find all of them and reblog! There’s no pressure to participate, obviously, but I would love it if you did! You also don’t have to participate every single day. This is totally all up to your preferences.

AUGUST CHALLENGE SCHEDULE
INTRO! - Introduce yourself to us! You can tell us as much or as little as you are comfortable sharing, and show us your beautiful face!
TBR - What are you planning to read this month?
FAVE BOOK - Take a selfie with your favorite book! You can even talk about why it’s your favorite in the caption
FREEBIE - I just love seeing all of your gorgeous faces, so every Friday, you can post a selfie without any bookish prompt to go with it. Show off your pretty selves! (If you ever wanted to post a selfie but are too shy because no one ever asked it of you, consider this your go signal!) If you want to talk about something bookish not on this challenge list, you can use this freebie spot to do so as well.
P. 113 - Take a random book, turn to page 113, and reenact the first 5-15 lines!
PET! - Take a selfie with your pet! Don’t have one? Talk about your favorite fictional pet (mythical or not).
CURRENT READ - Tell us about what you’re currently reading, how you feel about it, any reactions, etc. This is standard for all Mondays for the rest of the month!
#SHELFIE - Take a selfie with your bookshelves!
BFF! - Have a best friend? Take a selfie with them! Not that close to anyone really? Talk about your favorite duo, if you’d like to join them, why you like them, etc. Or you can do both!
SETTING - Do you live near something in which the book has taken place? Go there and take a selfie!

VERSUS - Bookstores or libraries? Have a little visit to your fave bookish place, and take a selfie.
