Intro post!

Hi, my name is Thistle! I use she/they pronouns :3

I primarily make TADC fanart, but I also make furry art from time to time. I use separate tags for each of these, so feel free to block those tags if you're only following for one or the other!

Artfight has been really fun this year, but I'm already starting to run out of steam like... two attacks in.

Granted, attacks are still being made! Just... incredibly slowly. I decided to participate in Artfight the same year I was attending a July-long art intensive, so I've been making attacks in short bursts between other art-based responsibilities. This, combined with the fact that I'm already a slower artist, makes for... less than an attack per week.

Motivation's been dwindling, too- and lot of the art motivation I have been getting has been towards fandom/personal projects, which isn't very helpful- I'm tempted to give in to that motivation and just draw for me for a little while so I don't fall into artblock. I just broke out of it in late June, and I should probably tread lightly.

I don't really have a set-in-stone plan for how I'll be for the rest of my 2026 Artfight, so this is more of a general announcement that I might not be super active for the rest of the year. I'm kinda disappointed about all this tbh, but it feels better than forcing myself to keep worrying about all the people I want to revenge.

Overall, future is uncertain on this topic. My hope is to at least finish up the two revenges I've been working on and fix my broken battle ratio next year lol. Happy Artfight to everyone else, and I'll see y'all on the battlefield- if not this year, then next one >:3
