Art or Vandalism
After watching the Netflix documentary "Exit through the Gift Shop", it gave me a different outlook about the art world. A french film artist tracked down famous graffiti artist Banksy and many others to film about his graffiti. Most people would think that it would be something that is harmful to public property and private property as well; however, some people debate that it is nothing much but art and a matter of "freedom of speech". Speaking through graffiti art is just as powerful as someone publishing their opinion in the media. I do feel like there should be a line drawn for graffiti artist because if i had someone spray paint on my property, i would not be happy with it at al. However, if they have permission to do anything on their property, then i do not see the harm of graffiti art in our everyday lives.

Memorial Hall reflection
Huge mural in the front foyer of Memorial Hall on the University of Kentuckys campus. It shows the culture of Kentucky during the different times through out history, and it was shown by different scales.
WRD 110. Scary Sentences.
Madame Delphine LaLaurie was a high society women in the French quarter of New Orleans in the 1850's, but she had a torture chamber in her attic. Police found her house slaves with their eyes gauged out, scalps opened, limbs cut off, and bodies butchered for her pleasure.
Place of Reflection on UK's campus
We all strive to take short cuts in our daily lives, whether it is driving to places, on the clock at work, or walking to class. I can assume many students in a given college atmosphere will surely try to take advantage of short cuts to their classes. Whether it be due to oversleeping, a class running late, or a hold up in traffic, most students have the mindset of getting to class at a fast rate and will often take short cuts in order to get there. In utilizing these convenient methods, they sometimes unappreciate the abundance of beauty around them when they do take alternate methods that provide more efficiency for time. One popular short cut is the grounds of the Presidents house or Maxwell Place.
