as requested, I’ve typed up some of the best bits from ‘In The Beginning: My Life With the Manic Street Preachers’ by Jenny Watkins-Isnardi, published in 2000. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s kind of a weird fanfiction type account of Jenny’s time going out with Nicky and being the ‘lead singer’ of the band, although it is to be taken with a big pinch of salt because well…the book is bad. I’ve edited some bits for clarity
