NEW WEBSITE AND BLOG

Why am I doing this?? It's not fun doing internet stuff and I have been on tumblr since it started. Well... I tried to log in on my laptop and... Long story, but the live.com email I used to found the blog has been deactivated by Microsoft (never use anything by Microsoft, but you know that, right?) and so tumblr doesn't recognise it. So I don't exist. And despite offering a scan of my passport and whatever else the dude with the keys to my blog at tumblr might need to let me back in, their support is crap and they won't do it. I'm writing this from my phone, which has the app and still lets me in but I need to be on a laptop to change the defunct email. And... Yada yards yada, I can't be bothered anymore with this. Tumblr was pissing me off anyway with all the 'sponsored posts' you can't turn off every time you go to post. So I've moved to wix. This blog is dead.

I have to say, whoever mixed the tracks together in this thing is LEGIT (Sanderson, is that you?!?) - the long crossfade out of Aural Imbalances remix of ‘The Golden Energy’ into the Minimal States cut is basically why I started making dance music. Damn...

And...expect some vinyl flavoured news from Stasis and Minimal States shortly... :)

Thom Carter, bassist in spacerock band Riddles, steps away from the wall of sound and amps on 11 for a night to perform a solo acoustic set of his own songs. Expect hazy folk fingerpicking, trippy lyrics and a head full of heartbreak.

Don’t expect it to sound like it looks in the pic lol, the press pic i submitted got binned for being ‘too nice’ haha - this is a hard as nails whisky joint. So go for a night with a dude who looks like a Paul Stanley impersonator and end up watching heart-on-sleeve folk in the Neil Young vien and a whole lot of confused biker dudes :)
