I have been so insanely inactive lately on here and thebookwormandbrains and I feel beyond awful about it but there is just so much stuff going on in my personal and school life right now and just ahhhhhhhh. I'm gonna try to get on for a bit tomorrow but it might not be for very long because I'll be at Cirque du Soleil. Anddddddd my laptop is dying so goodnight
Muggle Studies - Closed
Today had been a strange day, mainly because not a single word has been spat at her by her fellow housemates. Davina actually had the luxury of being sprawled out on the common room couch with her books all around. Feeling at peace and deeply interested in her books, the brunette didn’t realize she had spent half of her day in the common room. She had skipped practically every class except her last - Muggle Studies.
She quickly gathered her things and sped down the hall toward her class. Seeing that everyone else was attending their previous class Davina found herself alone in the room. She quickly made her way to the seat by the window that she’s had he eyes since the first day of class. Unfortunately for her Rose always managed to get to the seat before she did.
Davina was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn’t notice someone entering the room until a loud thud made her jump out of her seat. She whipped her head toward the source of the noise. Her face paled as she saw the girl who always sat in the seat.
“Hey Rose….” Davina bit her lower lip and avoided Rose’s gaze. “How was the uh previous class?” Davina internally groaned at her forgetting her entire schedule.
Rose had fully intended to brush off any of the girl's attempts at conversation so she'd get the hint that she'd taken her seat, but the hesitation in the girl's voice while addressing her immediately warmed her cold shoulder. She groaned inwardly, silently cursing herself for taking pity on the girl who was clearly very nervous to be speaking with her.
Plopping down in the desk upon which she'd dropped her books, she replied dully, "Uneventful. Monotonous. Boring." Which was exactly how this class was probably going to go since she didn't have her daydreaming seat. She pondered why, precisely, the girl was sitting there today when she was never early any other time.
Rose quirked a brow. "Funny, I've never run into you here before the start of class. What brings you here so early?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"You just did. What’s up?"

"I dunno… see it’s Malfoy…" Albus muttered quietly looking down at the ground.
"Oh wow, erm, okay..." Rose was momentarily at a loss for words at Albus's surprising confession. "Well, I suppose the smart thing to do would not be telling your parents. Of course, I don't know how serious your relationship actually is, so if you, you know, love him and want to make this last... Maybe telling them is the right thing to do."

Muggle Studies - Closed
Muggle Studies was usually the only class other than Divination that Rose was ever early for. This particular afternoon was no different, as she strode down the corridors on a mission to nab her favorite seat by the window before anyone else could beat her to it.
Unlike many of her harder classes, Rose found Muggle Studies to be exceptionally easy. Her mother was Muggle-born, after all, and had insisted Rose be raised with a perfect blend of Muggle and Magical upbringing. She liked to believe it made her a better person.
As she rounded the corner and neared the doorway to the classroom, she paused. Someone was sitting in her seat by the window. Her seat by the window. Hers. She always sat in that seat. So why was someone else's arse planted there today?
Groaning inwardly, Rose stepped closer through the doorway and peered at the back of the apparently female culprit. She was unable to recognize who, exactly, had had the bollocks to steal her seat, so she quietly made her way to the desk two rows behind the other girl.
Extending her arms out over the wood surface, she dropped the books with a loud thud in a passive-aggressive attempt to catch the other student's attention.
