Hey guys, so as some of you may know my family is from Tobago which is the smaller sister island of Trinidad. My dad is from Moriah village and his family home is on King Peters Bay Hill, where the only access to any of the homes is through climbing 192 steep, old concrete steps. I’ve done it a few times. It’s exhausting, not to mention dangerous to the people who live there, especially the elders. Ambulances can’t get up there in emergencies. The people of Moriah made a petition for Tobago’s government to replace the steps with a paved road. Please sign and share!! Click here to sign

^And these are just a few of the many steps it takes to get there. This petition means a lot to my family and an entire village of people. This is the reality of life for so many of the people who live in the “tropical vacation destinations” tourists love to visit. The people of Moriah can’t live like this. We need to be paid attention to by our government. Help our voice be heard!!

i know pansexuality is not just going to dissapear just because its inherently transphobic and biphobic, but when celebrities can say shit like “I always hated the word “bisexual, because that’s even putting me in a box.” in regards of being pansexual. and still no one can see how pansexuality directly harms bi people. 

how many times tv shows and movies about lgbt issues have shied from saying bisexual by saying “no labels”, and how they’ve found a new way to avoid saying bisexual. how this feeling of “bisexuality is too restricting” has become so mainstream, how so many people are convinced pansexuality is freer, more fluid than bisexuality. how dating a trans person automatically makes u “not fit” into bisexuality.
