For the sake of inspiration and fun! I’ll go first. Jeremy is too shy to admit that he enjoys cuddling and physical touch, especially because he already has trouble interacting with people to begin with. The only person he feels comfortable initiating or hinting for it without warning is Michael.
Michael is a cuddly/touchy person and almost always has an arm wrapped around Jeremy.
Michael has always looked towards Jeremy with adoring eyes, but Jeremy never realises until he’s staring back, and even then it takes Michael wearing contacts for him to believe he wasn’t hallucinating or making it up in his head.
Chloe is always touch starved, even if she doesn’t seem like it, and Brooke can always help with that.

This is really not okay.
I think some people fail to realize that men can be sexually assaulted, too, and not just by other men. This girl shoves him against the wall and slaps him three fucking times when he pushes her away. Heck, he has to push her away twice before she backs off for a moment. Then she goes right back to kissing him.
If the genders were reversed, everyone on this site would be flipping a shit. And if anyone dares to tell me that it’s different when a girl does it to a guy, I will personally write you a three-page essay on why it is still not okay.

Unashamed of his sexuality. My favorite headcanon about college student Jeremy is that by now he has his sexuality sorted out and he’s not afraid to admit it or make relevant jokes about it with people he’s opened up to. I think you could argue for Jeremy being bi, pan, or gay based on the canon and what may or may not happen after, but I haven’t yet developed a preferred sexuality for my muse. Wait, are you saying that Jeremy acts openly gay sometimes? Yes. Yes I am.
More blatantly sarcastic. Let’s face it, Jeremy has salt. He gets pretty cynical in “More Than Survive.” It’s a part of his personality that I think a lot of people ignore. I also think he can be a pretty big asshole when he feels like it, but in the most lovable and endearing way, especially around his friends. I bet he’s that one friend that casually teases the others about that super embarrassing thing they did at 4 AM until they’ve practically begged him to let it go.
Less timid. Yeah, my boy is still shy, but you can be shy without losing your ability to speak every time you bump into someone unfamiliar. I’m sure his voice still squeaks when he’s flustered and he still has a sweet, tenor vocal range for a guy, but some of those panicky hormones have stopped raging and Jeremy’s crazy voice cracking days are pretty much over.
Not AS anxious, but he still struggles with anxiety. Yes fam, Jeremy still has anxiety. That shit doesn’t just vanish. I also headcanon that he has issues with sensory overload in crowded spaces, especially if they’re smaller spaces with no clear escape route. Luckily, he has friends who help him through it, and in return he tries to do the same for them.

can we talk about that despite being poor, heidi hansen still provided therapy for evan and asked him if he needed refills for his meds but the murphys, despite being p fuckin rich didn’t give connor any treatment because they didn’t think it was worth it
look my dudes i know that connor’s parents aren’t evil like they’re potrayed on fanfiction but let’s not forget that zoe was an abuse survivor who had to deal with her abuse herself and herself alone and that the murphys could’ve stopped all of that from happening if they had just gotten connor proper treatment
Im not putting all this in the tags for once because it’s important. This post brings up so many good points here. Connor absolutely was wrong, and Zoe was abused, but it could’ve easily been avoided if he was treated properly.
Unpopular opinion: Connor could be a good person if he recieved proper treatment and his abuse of Zoe, while definitely his fault, doesn’t make him inherently evil since he couldn’t exactly control his parents choice in not getting him what he needed.

Hey fam, I think this argument definitely has some merit. I actually know from personal experience that treatment for mental illnesses radically changes everything. It’s sad, but because of the lingering stigma against mental heath conditions, sometimes parents don’t understand that what their kid is going through isn’t something they can control. The parents convince themselves that the kid is making a scene or acting out because these parents are still in denial that their kid even has a mental health condition.
My mom definitely told me to suck it up and stop being anxious more times than I could count. She actually punished me when I was younger for having panic attacks and threatened to force me against my will to spend the rest of my life in a mental hospital. Apparently I was embarrassing her and making a fool out of myself because I had a mental condition that I couldn’t control.
I’m not saying Connor’s situation was anything like mine, but I think maybe his parents were in denial that he had a problem. Maybe they wanted to pretend like everything in Connor’s life was alright and that he was voluntarily acting out because he was a moody, insubordinate teen. Maybe if Connor’s parents hadn’t been so afraid of admitting their son had a mental illness becuase of our society’s remaining stigma against them, Connor would have gotten the help he needed and Zoe wouldn’t have been a victim of his condition.
People with mental health conditions aren’t to blame for these tragic situations. Society’s icy, apathetic, judgemental mindset is.
