Also I am kicking ass in my fitbit battle - I am up over 20K in steps.
Thought in some bad news it is looking like I might have to travel for work the last week of January which means:
I will miss my birthday - and have to spend it working instead of with people I love
I will have 3 all day flights the last week of January seriously messing up my ability to dominate in stepping
Airport food
Take-out food
Traveling for work is not ideal when trying to manage health issues.
Suggestions welcome!
Whole 30 - Day 13
Woooooo - I am feeling good. I have lots of energy and I am not feelings hungry. Winning!
Bfast: Eggs+Bacon+Grapefruit
Lunch: Pulled pork + tomato and onion + apple (that is sliced my finger open trying to eat)
Dinner: Spicy Chicken thigh + pomegranate salad
I have a work happy hour tomorrow and I am on my own for dinner. Have no fear I will sip my club soda and make good choices. I am almost at the half way point.

Are you sure slicing my finger open isn't an excuse to skip the gym today?

Killing it! Feeling pretty good?
Hell to the yes I am feeling pretty good Amy. I am not saying there have not been hard moments, particularly the two times I have found myself surrounded by people eating pizza. But I am feeling awesome - I have not had any stomach aches or a regret hangover from bad food choices. I must agree this whole foods thing is working. My clothes are actually fitting - and for the first time in months looking at my stomach does not cause an overwhelming sense of body hate. I am not saying I am not looking forward to a Mimosa or some New Orleans food come February - but I feel like this Whole30 challenge is really working out.
Whole30 - Day 10/Day 11
It has been a good two days. Friday was a good work day and food day ending with game night at a friends place. Today I met up with a newish friend and had a friend date - yay making friends as an adult!
Food wise:
Day 10: eggs, hash, pulled pork, carrots, and sashimi
Day 11: eggs, sausage, tomato, bacon, chicken, sweet potatoes, and beets.
