As the other anon said, the best way to learn language essays (and how I got through gcse with a* in all of them) is write it and rewrite it and rewrite it and keep rewriting then rewrite in random orders (so from a certain word in a para). Also MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE WRITING. The sure fire way to forget a language essay is because you don't even know what you're saying. And, if you forget the exact words, you have an idea what should be there so can translate as best you can

Help! I have an oral exam tomorrow. I'm pretty well prepared technically, but since I'm one of the first people to ever take this particular exam, I have no idea what kinds of questions might be asked, and I'm worried about the situation in general (finding the room should be okay, but after that I have no idea what's coming oO). Any tips on staying calm?
Make sure that you take some deep breaths before you go in. Maybe download some breathing gifs to help you time them.
Take a bottle of water. If you get stuck or need a minute to think you can take a drink and it will look like a natural break while giving you a moment to think. The weight of holding the bottle can also help stop hands shaking.
Remember, the people there want you to succeed! They want you to be amazing, and they donāt want to give you a bad mark! Be confident!
