Dear Debra,

Yesterday Jamilla revealed to me that it was she at fault for the way her relationship with you fell apart at the end of the time she lived with you. After all these years she shared with me that she was irresponsible, and took advantage of you. A very different picture than the one she painted at the time, while seeking my support. She portrayed you horrifically and I felt at the time I had no choice but to support her in any way I could, which, unfortunately meant turning my back on you completely. I am not asking for your fogiveness, I don't feel I deserve it. I will ask that you allow me to apologize from my heart. I had no idea that Jamilla had been as irresponsible in paying bills on time, or that she was taking advantage of you in the way she described yesterday.
