“Hispanic” just means someone from a Spanish speaking country. It’s commonly used in the US to refer to Latinx people, but they’re not the same thing. Spain is not part of Latin America.

“Spanish” is not synonymous with Latinx when we’re talking about Spanish people from Spain. Most Spanish people from Spain are white for example, because they don’t have the ancestry that Latinx people do.
